Try to link your debit card from the credit card option. In Bulgaria, there's no debit card option as well, but many people have managed to add their Visa Electron debit cards just by entering its information as a "credit card".

Doesn't cost anything to link them. You'll be charged the current rate whenever you use the linked card as your payment method. This has nothing to do with getting money from an outside source. This is all about how you intend to PAY for the things you buy using PayPal, or which account the money is coming from when you SEND money.
I'm lucky at first it said '' your card has been decline please try a different payment method''. Someone told me to wait for a few hours and I was pissed off at first and i listen and kept calm and it worked.
to add your debit card on the add credit card part, enter the long number thats on your debit card, mine is 16 numbers, it will select card type for u (visa) then the expire date, then the security number which is on the back, mine is 3 numbers, done

Except when I did it, it wanted me to place the address of the original owner of the debit card associated with the card and not my own personal address that I registered with paypal. You see, the debit card was a rebate debit card that belonged to my friend. He owed me money and didn't have cash to pay me back so he gave me his rebate debit card as a payment. if you are using debit card try the “bank account” option, just look for ur bank name and insert ur account number.

You can’t link a debit card it doesn’t have exp date or CVV
A debit card has the months at the mid left side for the expense date and on the back the 3 numbers and the CVV numbers

It's probably saying that it will take a small amount to verify the card. It's usually a very small amount, and they reimburse it.
