    Amazing how far cranes have come ! A lot different than the Lorain 550 tower crane I ran in the early 80’s . Good video- Thanks.

    Wow! Thank you so much for this rare insight into a big crane! I’m looking forward to your series in this. What are you building? An industrial park or something more exciting?

      Thanks for the kind words, they are building some dock cranes.

    • @marksapollo
      @marksapollo 4 роки тому +1

      Tristam Mayes Your welcome :) it will be cool to see your videos of building some dock cranes, also was that an empty water jug in the back next to one of the winches? In front of your engine. What’s that for? At 1 min 28.

    • @TristamMayes
      @TristamMayes  4 роки тому +2

      marksapollo yes I use that to fill the adblue up, I keep it that way up so don’t get any dirt or dust in the jug.

    • @marksapollo
      @marksapollo 4 роки тому +1

      Tristam Mayes ah I got you, makes perfect sense :) although I don’t know what adblue is? Is it some kind of lubrication?

    • @TristamMayes
      @TristamMayes  4 роки тому +1

      marksapollo AdBlue is a fluid made up of a mix of urea and deionized water which is squirted into the exhaust system, helping to reduce nitrous oxide emissions produced by diesel engines.

      Tristam Mayes lol you should. You have a straight up premier. Building anticipation.
      Side. Note. Are things crazy as all get out where you are? Here in the states it’s only crazy where the socialist live. We call them liberals here lol. I’m still working though. My crane is broken down so i am in the yard as a mechanic. This covid reaction is ridiculous.
