    I think alot of people in the comments are misinterpreting what kmart was saying when he said “it’s not that hard to do.” I get that the timing was bad but you have to listen to how he said it in the context of the conversation, I think that he was saying tht its not hard for kat to be the second best big in the east, he then continued to say tht he’s in the conversation to be the best big in the league, I don’t see anything he said as hating y’all needa lay off kmart and just listen bru😂

    Too Early in the Season we will revisit this conversation in April and see their record and what the Knicks and KAT and Brunson can do in the playoffs.He’s a good shooting big don’t get me wrong but he’s soft though and don’t want to dominate in the paint and not a good paint defender. But we will see in April Playoffs Time.

    Id leave Kat at the 5. He played center until Rudy came. Mitchell would be a good back up. Og is versatile with bridges that's good defensive forward core.

    I like how we act like most of the negative criticism KAT received with the Wolves is from his postseason play or not being able to make get his team to the postseason. He's always been a great regular season player. I get it though. We're a long way from the playoffs. Gotta have something to talk about until we get there.

  • @spfdff
    @spfdff Місяць тому

    1. KATs not being asked to play D, like in Minnesota. So he avoids foul trouble and stays in games longer(thus more points and rebounds) 2. Thibs is doin what Thibs does… max out the playing time of his starters. All this leads to a horrific collapse at the end. Towards the end of the season and playoffs, KATs efficiency and impact decline, due to more stringent D being at a premium and Thibs will have ran them boys into the ground. Remember, KAT also has a history of end of season injuries(that major minutes isn’t conducive to preventing).

    • @triggatrey2112
      @triggatrey2112 Місяць тому

      Well that would be on Thibs if it goes down like that. Can’t blame KAT for being overworked by the coach.

    • @spfdff
      @spfdff Місяць тому

      @ You’re 100 percent correct, but it’s also a fact that KATs been injury prone(the past couple years). Let’s just hope the guy stays healthy. Nothings worse than an NBA with a bunch of unavailable injured stars

  • @3xtrey421
    @3xtrey421 Місяць тому

    I feel like the same thing can Happen to Ben Simmons if he gets bought out and signs with the Knicks . Thibs is a tough love kind of coach but he praises defense . All Thibs would need a 15 minutes of transition Defense and Playmaking . I could see Lineups with Ben And KAT when Brunson is sitting . Also A McBride and Ben Simmons Back Court would be scary defensively . Even an all defensive Lineup of Ben , Hart , Mikal , OG , Robinson sounds scary . The Switch-ability. The size . I feel Simmons isn’t a starter but could be a nice Situational Piece that the Knicks , Nuggets , Orlando or even the Celtics can use

    Gil's so right. I'm a die-hard Knick fan, but, one year I attended a game against Denver, when Carmelo was on Denver. I had a corporate seat under Denver's basket in the first half. Carmelo caught fire and just busted our a**. I tried to be pissed, but... The only guys I didn't feel that way about was MJ and Reggie Miller. They just pissed me off, and no one in NY likes Trae Young. But for the most part, Gil is right. Knick's fans are too much about basketball, especially street style.

    People just took Butler’s side and hated KAT way too much. We will see Butler become more and more of a team problem as he demands a trade, and realize KAT has always been good. He’s better now, but it’s absurd how much people assume the worst of him off such little evidence. Just Jimmy’s word.
