The song was originally written by Hank Williams. The album is on Tommy's label - CGP Sounds. The video was directed by Jes Stanford with assistant director Michael Kessler.

Tommy ..my dad Frank Galasso passed in 2016 at 91.a WWII army vet saw much action ..came home and lovingly raised my 2 brothers and I a devoted husband and a guitar player most of his life ..a fan of yours...he would often play and sing "cold cold heart" thank you for bringing this song alive again..he would have loved it...thank you for touching a great memory in me ❤❤❤

Nice gypsy-tinged take on this iconic classic. I've been playing guitar for 37 years, played I a lot of rock and blues bands, have many heroes from Beck to Peter Green to SRV to Gatton and Ford to lesser known virtuosos like Jack Pearson. But right now, if there's one guitar player who I'd be happy to sound/play like for the rest of my days, it's probably Tommy Emmanuel. Just give me a nice acoustic, and I'm set.

I listen a lot to Tommy Emmanuel, but now I'm going to start listening to John Knowles a whole lot more--his intro
is stunning. Great tone, phrasing and expression. Tommy's statement of the melody is slightly reminiscent of Django.

Playing a lead melody like this one takes huge strength from one's left hand and requires so much of concentration, because one has no second chance if mishitting a note. I was so glad to know that Tommy and John are going to release an album together, hope it will have San Antonio Stroll on it!
