Looks great dude, do ya'll have the m7 style in an 8 string?
👏😍🤝😍🙏
Nice! I think Precision Guitar Kits might sell more Baritones if they pre-routed for Evertune though.. Like maybe A LOT more.
Shipping off the guitar to have the Evertune installed could be pricey? Seems like kind of overkill for a kit. I'd only shop my guitar to Evertune if I was completely sure that's what I wanted, and all the guitar I love won't be getting routed anytime soon.
For those wondering about the pick scrape, it's done with a +2oct whammy haha that's why it sounds so fucked
thanks for sharing! it's dope!
I. Want. One. Also, FULL build process please!!!
A series full build would be cool to do again
That basically was the full build process in the end lol
@@awaitingchaosband yeah I don't have anything else to show haha so I don't know what people are asking for with the full build process question
@@BaenaCarcosa Turn camera on -> Unbox parts -> Start building guitar -> Finish building guitar -> Demo -> Turn camera off
@@Shadowrunner340 you're forgetting the part where he sent it to Evertune for the bridge
EVERTUNE JAZZMASTER IN E GANG
Beautiful my dude 💚💚💚
Mekie João
Oh yo it's the guitar cover dude.. Love u :)
Honestly, that finish looks sweet AF. Such a simple finish, but it's so effective. Sounds tight too. I wish there more baritones like this. Hell, I've always wanted Fender or someone similar to make a 7/8 String Jazzmaster. That would be perfect. I'm all ears if anyone knows where I could get one.
Wes Lambe makes a 7 string multiscale jm clone. Looks cool but no idea if their stuff is any good or not. It does have the most aggressive fan I've ever seen tho 😂
Balaguer could probably get pretty close to what you're after
Schecter made a Japanese release only 7 string ss jmaster. Aviator guitars has a jazzmaster body style and so does balaguer and fast guitars
Check out Jon deiley from northlane and his 7-string jazzmaster, as well as his 7-string telecaster
The father of one of The Acacia Strain guitarists makes custom builds, many of which are 7/8 JM style. He is @twsmith on Instagram and TSmith Guitars on Facebook. They’re very beautiful and I plan on getting one myself
Precision guitar kits needs to drop this as a kit.
I would have probably done something similar except the color honestly. I love that single volume control layout so much.
1:19 ITS BEAUTIFUL I LOVE THAT NOISE
I built my first Jazzmaster earlier this year. It's in purple with a green pickguard. I think my next one will be ALL green. Yours looks great!
BLOODY RUTHLESS! Always killing it Andrew love your stuff man!
Can't wait to see the build process! You're an inspiration my man. Sick finish on that thing. Demo sounds YUGE.
Dude that guitar's demented 😍 Definitely checking out the kits
AWESOME SOUND bro!!!! I love that dropped E tuning...
Fucking love your channel. All these guitars. riffs. Great music!!! Happy New Year!
Such a sick guitar man! It also sounds huge🔥🤘🏻
Sounds and looks cool as hell once again!!
That is freaking sweet man! I love Jazzmaster builds outside the norm. I have one in the works with a Floyd Rose and I'll be swirl dipping it.
Full build vid would be awesome as well! Cheers!
That thing is sweet.. nice job!!
Beautiful guitar, great work on it! 😄
That's a sweet guitar man. I'm a kit guy too. Inexpensive way to get EXACTLY what you want. I think it was genius to put that prail in there. Perfect for that guitar. Im not really into baritones myself, but I damn sure appreciate those mean chugs you got there. Nice work. 👍 After seeing this, if like to check out these kits. I don't know how, but I haven't heard of precision guitars but I'm gonna have to look into them. They seem pretty quality to me.
Found this while researching the p-rail on baritone guitars--sounds nice! Grab a triple shot pickup ring and you'll be able to access all the versatility of the pickup.
those pick drags in the beginning are pure evil 😍
You seriously sold me on this. I will be looking up these companies to do a build also. Especially as a fellow Canadian. I have been planning an 8 string epoxy build, but this sounds great and will be 10x easier to get 90% of what I am looking for. 8 string isn't dropped, just benched for now.
I love guitars with one pickup. They're clean as hell looking and I do all my tonal adjustment at the amp anyway so a bridge humbucker and a volume is all I need.
I need both a baritone and a cool kit guitar sheeeesh that’s clean af
Looks sick. Love the painted headstock
this song has etched in to my brain,..it is so f-ing heavey :) thanks Andrew love cheers
so nice guitar Mr.!!!!
I love it man...looking into doing another Warmoth build.
Might make it a baritone this time!
Love these videos Andrew! I love seeing these types of guitar playthroughs rather than the super high quality ones that are filmed like medicine commercials.
“guitar is only for chugging”. Form what I’ve seen that’s basically all you do anyways bro 😂
Sounds absolutely insane ! And I think we can all agree, we're so impatient to see and hear the Carcosa Aristides !
Yep, that Sounds THICCCCCC
that pick drag actually gave me goosebumps... naaastyyyy
This perfectly fits for meshuggah
It looks and sounds beastly.
that guitar is sick! also, there's a $200 8-string guitar on Rondo music that you might wanna check out to see if that's good for djenting!
I bought it. It's not great, but it's not terrible either. I swapped out the pickups for Seymour Duncan Alpha/Omegas and it sounds beastly.
@@sydneyduchaine4832 I just bought it, and it should be coming tomorrow, hopefully I can buy some new pickups for it to make it sound better!
Does it matter a lot when you're distorting and palm muting the thing ?
I'm playing bass with pretty clean tones and whenever i've played something like Muse or For Whom The Bell Tolls, something very distorted, it just doesn't feel like instrument's parts make a difference with heavily distorted tones. Seems like it boils down to build quality and the rest is pedals.
@@darkySp I'd say it definitely matters. You're right in that you can process the hell out of a bad tone to make it usable, but a good mix starts with good source and for guitars the source is the pickups.
Its on sale for $160 right now
nice guitar. i just finished my selfmade fretless bass this week but the electronics are very difficuilt. it's perfect someone already made that for you.
Am I the only one who screamed WE ARE MADE TO FALL right before moshing alone in my room. Yea probably.
I had a similar idea for a guitar, cool to see it happen for you!
Basically ditch the high strings, since chugging does not require them, tune them low and have a long scale length, of course humbucker, and keep it six string since 7+ strings gets to be fairly large with the fret width or diameter or whatever you want to call it.
Great video!
So glad I’m came across this video! Definitely going to build my own baritone >:)
great video , nice guitar
Dude. the riffs go all the fuckin way in. Very dope set up on the guitar man. It came out pretty well I think!
Looks great, would be interested to see it with a pick guard or something to break the green up a bit
Sick man !
thankful for my bass boost from the zen dac for songs/tunings like these
Jesus Christ... its beautiful and the tone is rad!!
Sick t-shirt also!!!! Darknet are freaking dope!!!
Dude, this is so sick. Want to try it myself, you should make more just to do it haha
love your guitar
Holy chug. That guitar looks awesome
" I don't use those anyways" LOL, my man!
That’s badass.
I'm in love. 💚
I had a local guitar shop help me build a baritone out of an old Ibanez AX that I've has since I was 16 (Im 37 now). Still working on it though. Want to put a 30" neck on it. Still finicking with the pickup too.
geez wasn’t expecting that sound from the thumbnail! heavy
Kudos man! Good job! I love guitars with only a bridge pickup, too bad there are not many options for that.
I wish Precision Guitars offered the Evertune routing in their Made To Order options. I would order one in a heartbeat.
That is fekking dope!
Wait Graphtech's local to BC? Wild. Bought a nut from them to replace a cracked one and my strings don't bind anymore.
Definitely going to have to check these guys out when I'm looking for a new guitar. Custom always feels great once you finish
Song sounds badass
Chuggaluggaluggachugga! That sounds awesome!
Finally, IT'S ALIVE!!!
Thats just what i need for my birthday today
Can't wait to see the Yellow Aristites 💛 Carcosa Guitar
nice bro!
tip for the finish: basic waterbased wood stains work really well, are inexpensive and easy to use (and easy to correct mistakes).
Can‘t exactly recommend a brand though because I use a German brand from my local store 😅
Ya man I def wanna check out the precision guitar kits. I’ve been wanting to do something like this and I love the body style of both of yours. Say u wanted that jazzmaster body, could u make it a 7 string? And can u pic the woods for the neck?
I absolutely love your videos man, I'm a new subscriber, so I apologize if you already have a video for it, but anyway you could show how you get your crushing tone from nameless sweet? I have nameless and Plini, which I love both, but I'm still not 100 percent satisfied with the tone I'm getting, and I'm still brand new to plugins. Thanks man!!!
The way the riffs Segway to one another 👍
Look good. I just build a Warmoth baritone Strat with a fixed bridge and a bareknuckle Warping bridge/Aftermath neck, it rips. Kits/partcasters are great options for baritones. You can get 27" scale necks straight from Fender and monster 28 5/8 scale necks from Warmoth.
Do you have a list of the precise specs for this kit? I really dig your build (single pickup, single volume knob, etc). Would be cool to have for those who want to do a similar build. Fantastic content as always. Keep it up! :)
Very intrigued by that P-Rail, could you perhaps have some side by side comparisons/a shootout between it against regular humbuckers and P90's? Oh, and before I forget, even if you've had it around for a while, Happy NGD!
This is bad ass! I’m looking for a 28” scale 6 string myself
ibanez rgib6
@@canilhan98 Its an inch short at 27", but the Ibanez AX110XL is a steal at $300 (if you can find one). Great neck
I want a free kit! I've always been afraid to attempt a guitar finish though lol, loved the B-roll of it all
Nissssssssssssssssssce 🍻
It's a brutal Orc slayer Ax!
Exactly which parts did you get from Precision Guitar Kits to make this guitar? I'd love to make one like this, but with a slightly different color and pickup choice.
Sounding chunky man! You've made me want to do something arty now 😅
In the near future, Andrew Baena will be a connoisseur of green guitars for deathcore.
Great spec for a self build. I'm probably going to go for a basic self build bass kit for a couple of reasons. First, I don't have a bass at the moment. Second, I'll be less upset if I get it wrong 🤣🤣
Hey Andrew could you possibly do a video on how you intonate your guitars? I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s clueless.
THICC CHUGS ONLY, also sea foam green 😂fuckn love it
that pick swipe made me do the metal face
Love the guitar man!
Hey question man I wanna do the drop E loathe tuning I have a 29.5 inch scale gretsch what size gage strings would I use for that ?
The guitar sounds killer. Maybe a little on the thin side during single string picking (whatever that is called). How do you make that Emmure, scrape sound with your pick like that? Is there a wah pedal setup?
Hmmm... I'm intrigued. This might be a secondary move for a starting guitarist (myself) if I want some chuggy boi notes but don't want an eight/seven string
sickkk
Hey! I'm trying to build a similar guitar! On the Precision site, what Control Cavity would I choose to have the one you have here? Just a volume knob is all I need.
Hey, Andrew! Have a question, that disturbs me for a long time. What bass tuning do you use for a drop E guitar? Like, same octave or octave below? I play in drop E and use Loki Bass. Just don't know, how to make it more correct, cause both same octave and octave below sound good in a full mix.
Beautiful guitar! Wonder what the radius on that neck is
you guys need some more bass kits
Yall need an evertune route option on the kits!
How much do you hi pass your Drop E guitar when mixing? I feel like the average 80hz wouldn’t be enough. Also how much do you hi pass the bass?
@ 7:58 Simple men, with only 1 volume knob UNITE!!!!
this sound amazing wtf
I've been looking into a custom seven string v style with a reverse in-line headstock similar in style to the old Ibanez VBT700. It's my dream guitar.
Are you reading my mind or am I reading yours? XD
Erik and Connor from Loathe would be proud.
Nice green palm face-muted paint job. :P
Please do a build process for this guitar
H0ry shet, that's brutal af!
I wish Fender would release something like this. All the same specs but with a Seafoam Green finish.
