How does this review not have thousands of views? BEST review for both backpacks. You should do reviews on UA-cam as a part time job, you rock at it. Thank you.
Excellent review my friend. I was looking at those two options as well and you provided enough information for me to select the Venturesafe X. Thank you.
great comparison! thank you. i use the vibe 325 everyday - just got the new one they did a collab with Diamond Skateboards. the venturesafe x i use for extended travel because inside the back pockets are a clip on each side, they're designed to be clipped to the straps of a larger backpack and worn on your chest. very good for traveling in busy markets. easy to access cash, phone, hide passport.
Thanks for a useful comparison. I was looking at the Vibe 325 for exactly the reasons you mentioned and do see myself carrying more gear (particularly if on holiday when I’ll also be carrying stuff for my wife…).
I just bought the venturesafe x, since it has the perfect measurements to be carried as a small handbag on my upcoming flight. Thank you for your awesome review, it helped me a lot.
Thanks for the helpful comparison. I was considering both of these, but the inability to access the Venturesafe without taking it off is a bit of a dealbreaker for me. Shame they don't make a Vibe in the same size as the Venturesafe.
I don't comment much, but genuinely a great comparison and review of both of these bags. Trying to decide between a few different pacsafe pacs myself. Super helpful! Thank you!
This was very helpful. Been looking for information on how these bags when it comes to ease of access. When i learned that you couldnt just slide the venturesafe x to your front, like how the vibe does, it was a deal breaker for the venture safe
Thanks for your great review! I was debating between the two and seeing the side-by-side comparison really helped figure out which bag is more convenient for my needs.
Thanks for the detailed review. Really unfortunately that you have to take it off every time to open it. That seems like a fatal flaw. I’ll have to keep looking. Thanks again
It saves me so much time pondering which one to get. I was in the mall yesterday and it took me so much time to decide that I thought to find a review first before deciding and here you are. Thanks!
Hey dude. Thanks for posting this video, it actually helped me quite a bit in deciding what sort of bag to get. Going for a 20 day summer euro trip real soon!
Thank you. Just sold me on the Vibe. I can use it at the track. I can leave my things in my box, hook the strap to the railing and know I can get a hotdog without my pack and iPad mini taking off. I have a thermal pouch that would fit in there for snacks, and the money saved avoiding the hot dog stand will pay for the pack. I better hurry. It’s on sale on Amazon.
Nice video I've just brought a new pacsafe bum bag for our up and coming trip to Indonesia. This one took me awhile to work out the clips and the strap was amazing I had to watch a UA-cam video on how to even undo the strap. Its my 2nd pacsafe bag. But I do agree with you sometimes the clips are a little bit too tricky specially if you're in a hurry to get your wallet out or phone etc. On my small osprey bags I just use carabiners joint together. There are a lot of pickpockets in Southeast Asia where we normally travel. It's amazing how fast they can be you don't even realise it's happening to it's happened. The only downside to this type of bag especially if a woman uses it as a sling bag places like Bali there is a lot of scooters and a lot of drive-by grabs and with the wire in there I can see you getting dragged along. But it's all common sense to you don't walk on the road side. But sometimes it's unavoidable
I think it would fit most DSLRs with a basic lens, but it depends on the size of the camera, and you would probably have to detach the lens so that the camera body lays flat in the bag, since it is a relatively thin bag.
I have an ipad 11 pro with Smart Keyboard Folio, which fits perfectly inside the bag. I dont have a magic keyboard, but I am pretty sure it is not wider, so it should fit.
Johan Uribe thank you for this reply! Now I have decided im not going with the Vibe 325! Its too big for me, I’m a minimalist. But the vibe 150 doesn’t fit my daily. Venturesafe X it is. Thanks for this! Truly appreciated!
It has a "Carrysafe slashgaurd strap with dyneema". Some pacsafe pacs are only listed has having a "slashguard strap", and others are listed as having a dyneema strap. I interpret this to mean that this pack has both a slashguard strap (which means a piece of steel wire) plus it is made from dyneema, which is slash resistant. So, I am pretty sure that it does. Check the pacsafe website, your interpretation will be as good as mine. www.pacsafe.com/venturesafe-x-anti-theft-sling-pack/60505.html
Johan Uribe, yes, i check and found steel in vibe 325 straps. I feel it, when touch strap. But no luck to find steel in venturesafe. Maybe, i have fake venturesafe? :( Some video compare, that dyneema is much stronger than steel. Maybe one has steel, another - dyneema? Anyway, thanks for review :) I plan carry venturesafe in front (vertical), so compartments will be on top near head. Will see tomorrow, is it comfortable or not (i used jack wolfskin delta bag some days on front)
Johan, hello. I compare, and wolfskin delta bag better than both of this for everyday use. As i understand, Venturesafe X is not for everyday use. It comes as companion for backpacks, and clips in front vertically on center. Its very uncomfortable for everyday. Sorry.
Thanks for letting me know. The wolfskin delta bag looks very good for every day use. Do you think you can fit a 10.5" ipad pro in it? It seems too small for my purposes, which I why I did not go for it initially.
I have both bags. The Venturesafe does not have steel wires in the upper wide portion of the strap, but the other half, which is nylon, or is it dyneema, has two strips of wire embedded all the way through. I also thought I might have been had, but I ordered mine straight from the online Pacsafe store. So yeah, that's how they decided to design VentureSafe X this time. I don't know if it's more of an economical decision or functional decision.
On the venturesafe x, have you noticed any weakness or lack of durability in the top of the strap that does not have wire running through it? Just curious on the long term durability. Thanks!
thanks @@cyphen21 because i don't want to leave it outside of the sleeve. i believe i will buy the vibe 325. thank you for your response and review that definitely help me a lot to decide which one.

Glad it helped! Best of luck on your trip.
I was stuck between these 2 bags too, but I think I’m going with the X based on your awesome review - thank you!
Thanks for the review. Defiantly helped me decide which pack to take on an upcoming trip. Hope you had a great trip!
Thank you for this video, it helped me a great deal in deciding which one would be the right one for me.
Thank you so much! I have a trip to Spain in a couple weeks and this was exactly what i was looking for. Have fun in Japan.
Thanks for sharing your project research.
I ordered the Venturesafe X, i think it Ill be large enough for my gear (PC tablets)
Thanks for this helpful review. I honestly couldn't figure out some of the features until I watched your video.
I wasn't sure what to get, but now im sold on the 325. Its perfect for my upcoming trip!

Cool video!
When you spend more time on one sling pack than another, the mystery of which one you chose is long gone.
Great video thanks so much.

In a place like Bali, a woman would just wear the bag in front more under her control.
Very nice comparison, thanks for posting. Did you mention that the smaller sling will clip onto a backpack?
Very good comparison
Vibe 325 is my pick
How bout vibe 325 vs vibe 150
They shouldve made a smaller ver of 325
Thank you for a super video.
Thanks 😊
So a year later - What are your current thoughts on the Venturesafe X and do you still use it?
I still use it all the time. When I just need a carry a few things around with me, there is no better option IMHO.
Tnx for the video, really helped.
Would the inside zipper scratch a tablet or laptop in the main compartment?
I dont think so. With my 11 ipad pro, the zipper does not touch any part of it while it is in the bag.
Hi was wondering does the venturesafe x fits dslr with basic lens. Since it was meant for travelling.
I think it would fit most DSLRs with a basic lens, but it depends on the size of the camera, and you would probably have to detach the lens so that the camera body lays flat in the bag, since it is a relatively thin bag.
But japan is very a safe place with very low crime, you don’t need to worry about someone stealing your stuff.
Great review!
Thanks
Can an ipad pro 11 inch with magic keyboard fit inside? Even if its not on the tablet sleeve? Just really need to know... a reply would be appreciated
I have an ipad 11 pro with Smart Keyboard Folio, which fits perfectly inside the bag. I dont have a magic keyboard, but I am pretty sure it is not wider, so it should fit.

thanks for your detail review. it's very useful.
I was wondering if a 13" macbook would fit :D thanks for the info!!
Unfortunately, the 13" macbook pro does not fit in the Venturesafe X. It is very close, the macbook slides in, but is slightly too long.
Hi. Can an ipad pro 2020 11 inches fit the Venturesafe X? Would appreciate a response
On the venturesafe x, have you noticed any weakness or lack of durability in the top of the strap that does not have wire running through it? Just curious on the long term durability. Thanks!
No. I used it all day every day for a month and I noticed no weakness during that time.
@@cyphen21 Thanks. By far the most helpful and detailed review on any pacsafe
Do you think ti fit in the sleeve an ipad pro 11?
Yes. I think it would. It fit my 10.5 pro with a big fat case on it (logitech combo). That case is much thicker than the apple case.
thanks @@cyphen21 because i don't want to leave it outside of the sleeve. i believe i will buy the vibe 325. thank you for your response and review that definitely help me a lot to decide which one.
and I think I have the same incase backpack lol
A man of fine taste.
