People who have had near death experiences say that Heaven has colors we have never seen on Earth before. I imagine this young man experienced a little bit of Heaven on this day.
Feel a little bit of science u means?, idk how people can related everything to god, but that damn glasses was not coming from the sky and the people around him didn't just show up out of no where and be friendly.
Maggie Fenster that he’s keeping a leaf just cause it has a bright yellow color. He will obviously move on from this later on because there are so many other things with an actual lasting color.
That this darling young man allowed his emotions to flow like that in front of his friends without societal shame is wonderful to see. Heartwarming. They are clearly a lovely group of people.
Being partially color blind - when two friends gifted me the glasses - I broke down and cried as well...not only for the colors that I could now accurately see - but they they would buy those for me - and they aren't cheap!
Umm this makes no sense. I am fully color blind. I was denied Air Force service because of it. I even went to optometrists to see how I could cheat their tests so that I could fly their jets. It is an impossibility. When you are color blind, you are color blind. But it is a misnomer. I can see colors. I just can't tell the difference between them. I don't really understand what this guy could be seeing. Maybe I need to get a pair to see if this is a bs marketing scheme for glasses. I wouldn't doubt that it is. And even if it did, how could anyone be certain that I'd be seeing what you're seeing. I can put regular glasses on and see colors slightly differently. I say BS.
This group of young people will never forget this day for as long as they live. The efforts they went to, and the surprise at the end was truely well worth it both for group and also the young guy himself
I am near-sighted, so I can see fine up close but things far away are blurry So I got a pair of glasses and I was overwhelmed when I first put them on. But it must be at least 20 times as overwhelming to see COLORS for the first time
Ethan Sullivan : great statement. I also remember getting my first pair of glasses to be able to see far away items. It was very moving, so watching these color blind individuals see colors for the first time is deeply impactful.
I was 5 when I got my glasses, I literally wept that night when I saw the moon and stars, my parents had to make me come inside because I wanted to look at everything. It's a huge, life changing thing.
I got my first pair of glasses when I was five. In the car driving home I said excitedly "Daddy the trees have leaves on all the way to the top!" He was very moved.

What amazes me is that, he can buy $1000 computer and IPhones and yet he won't bother to buy something that is worth $400(at most) that can make him see colors.
That made me cry a LOT.
@@valcrist7428 I very recently got diagnosed as red/green color blind, other than sucking at coloring, and killing my teammates in games cause there tags are red and the other teams green life’s was pretty normal so getting 400$ sunglasses weren’t top priority, although I would still probably freak out if I got a pair!
If that’s what you meant by that
@@valcrist7428 perhaps he had to save money to get his iPhone & computer and thought the glasses were not a necessity at the mean time ?
That comment just made me both sad and laugh at the same time lol 😅
Context: I don't have any confidence in myself, or "self-love" or anything like that. Don't think I ever have.
I sometimes think to myself: "if people think I'm so kind and caring and whatever, then why do I feel like I have no friends? Do people not like me? Am I useless?"
Sure, many others may have it a hell of a lot worse than me, but still.
I would literally do ANYTHING to have such awesome and cool and kind friends as he does! Just to like go out with, watch a movie, go over to each other, or just hang and talk and do whatever..
I'm happy for him though. I could never imagine anyone I know doing such a thing for me. Though I'm not colorblind, but if I was. Such nice friends ❤
As a person with social anxiety, this filled me up with emotions I can’t explain. How much am I going to miss out on, these connections, genuine friendship, passing me by and leaving me behind....so happy to see him have all these great and awesome friendships, all the best to you and have a colourful life!❤️
We are all connected ...you are no exception! Sending hugs 🤗
Hang in there. You don't need a lot of people or social gatherings to have genuine connections and relationships with people.
You might know that already.
But even if you don't, hang in there and a change is gonna come :)
All the best

1. Amazing Gift that most of us take for granted seeing color. 2. Amazing Friends
i hope everyone has friends like them😭
Nope xD
You know damn well we don't !
Nope that's rare.
Ha not me

Poor him. He is happy with the thing just Normal as with almost of people in the world.
May be poor us as we don't know the value of things that we have. He's happy for seeing colours which is something that we can't understand or feel ..
You wont appreciate something youve always had till someone who never did show you how awesome a treasure you have taken for granted. He has real friends.
People who have had near death experiences say that Heaven has colors we have never seen on Earth before. I imagine this young man experienced a little bit of Heaven on this day.
Yeah, I remember. There were all these colors swirling around me.
when he said "look these aren't the same color" that's it, i was breaking down. ugh this made my day
Feel a little bit of science u means?, idk how people can related everything to god, but that damn glasses was not coming from the sky and the people around him didn't just show up out of no where and be friendly.
Yes this is true. Our eyes are only limited to certain wavelengths. Heaven must be full of life.
Can you just not ruin this religiously neutral moment with christian propaganda ? Thank you.
A miracle of science engineering and what a lovely young man with terrific friends all able to enjoy their life-changing work!
I found it so endearing how he didn't let go of that bright yellow leaf

That’s so dumb.

Maggie Fenster that he’s keeping a leaf just cause it has a bright yellow color. He will obviously move on from this later on because there are so many other things with an actual lasting color.

I agree bro
That this darling young man allowed his emotions to flow like that in front of his friends without societal shame is wonderful to see. Heartwarming. They are clearly a lovely group of people.
There is no shame in showing emotions, ppl need to realize this.

Friend - A person who can make you cry with joy
This is why I love the internet. This is what it should be used for.
Me too!
A man with friends has everything. This young man must be an incredible person for people to love him so much.
That reinforces the idea to loners that they aren’t worth anything because they have few friends. Number of friends does not equal worth.

He could. If you soak them in glycerin they stay supple and keep the color. He could frame that leaf.
I'm not crying, you're crying 😩😢😩 His reaction is priceless 😊🤗😊
ah...
Being partially color blind - when two friends gifted me the glasses - I broke down and cried as well...not only for the colors that I could now accurately see - but they they would buy those for me - and they aren't cheap!
Such good friends :)
I say BS.

I am near-sighted, so I can see fine up close but things far away are blurry
So I got a pair of glasses and I was overwhelmed when I first put them on.
But it must be at least 20 times as overwhelming to see COLORS for the first time
Ethan Sullivan : great statement. I also remember getting my first pair of glasses to be able to see far away items. It was very moving, so watching these color blind individuals see colors for the first time is deeply impactful.
