I agree 1000% with all that you said. I also got a 44 (exam route) with math AA HL, Econ HL, Spanish B HL, Business SL, English SL, ESS. After the exams I declined the offer from UCL because I thought I wouldn’t get the 39 with 766. Everyone told me otherwise, but I still did it. The content was fine, but exam questions were hard. The only way to get better is to practice. As for IAs, just find a topic you like, and you should be fine. Again, you don't need to read many online exemplars to find a topic. Just look around and get inspired by the opportunities around you.
;-; btw since may & nov 2021 were the first cohort, the grade boundary was much lower compared to the old syllabus (67% for a 7), as the questions were harder for paper 3 and section b (even if content was less). I think don't be held back by the rumours and definitely give it a try yourself 😆

Do the people here realize that in 2021 IB grades were super inflated? The grades were given only based on IAs and the world average was unacceptably high.
That's IB MYP. You'll only get a similar report like IB DP in MYP 5, or 10th grade. Before that, it is very easy and honestly, nothing to stress about. Just do well in your 10th boards, and then the real thing will begin in 11th. These results are for IB DP, where the final results are given out of 45. 3 points for the EE and TOK and 42 for subjects in total. However, for MYP, it is just based on your summatives and is honestly not even stressful at all. Everything till 8th is a piece of cake. 9th is a bit more difficult but still not much, and 10th is mainly studying and preparing for e-assessments. This is coming from an MYP student who has just entered 10th.
I dont know whether to choose history or physics sl as my sixth subject. I love history, but physics intrigues me. I am totally lost and people are telling me all sorts of things. I wouldn't treat the courses as subjects when studying, instead, consider them by their subtopics. Target topics that you struggle the most with and balance them out. An excellent way to find which topics you struggle with most is to lay out all the objectives in front of you and tick through each one of them.
