@@RedWhiteRoxor just hit it with a buffer and it should shine them up. Might need some rubbing compound or what they call jewlers rouge to get it back right.
The way this is set up , I dont see it being much of an issue. It is clamped on there so good, it would have to shear the rear spring hanger bolt or something in my opinion. Idk ill see it in action and be able to tell more!

Yes its a matte tan color. I do love my black though! But it will definitely show scratches more
