Great stuff there Greg I've learnt on that lake to fish about 3 ft off far bank on waggler and not tight over at 4_6 inch depth and chucking bomb and feeder same I've never fished pole on there yet
Hi Mark, I believe that the fish are tight over in the cover. I have even told Paul that about a metre on the far bank for every peg needs clearing to access the fish. I do believe they have created a great pond that will get better in time. All the best Greg.
It is Great Lake like ya said far bank is a mess in lake vey uneven that’s why I g fish away from it but it only my personal choice if ya catch there then that’s great
Is mugging skillful, prob why I don't match fish but I always thought that feeding and presenting Yr rig properly was what it's all about, why not just scoop um out with a net...... Not aving a dig at you personally but I suppose it's all about winning?
Hi Paul, it is simply presenting a bait right in front of a fish's mouth in the hope it takes it, so not that much skill required. However, the professionals make it look easy and win matches on it, so I suppose there must be a skill to it. It is a very hit and miss method, for me it has been more of a miss. Some days are better than others. Cheers Greg
@@GregProffittAngling OK thanks for that it seemed to me that other methods seemed more effective, but I can see how it wud work I wud be too clumsy, it wasn't a dig at you Greg but I can see how it wud win alot of match's by the top guys just not for me I like shallow fishing bring the fish to me by feeding slapping etc.... Love the vids man 👍🎣
@@paulslack4303 I know it weren't a dig at me buddy 👍 yes normally presentation and feeding are key but for some reason mugging is just an unorthodox method that works 👍
