She had the same opinion as me. At first I also thought that this anime was like a jujutsu martial art. And then I realized that there's a different between Jujutsu and Jujitsu 😂
A few things to note about how this series goes, at least up to the end of the first arc that just aired: - The intro is full of clips that don't make sense until you get to the context for the clip, which is sort of neat because it's a constant "ohh, _that's_ what that meant" feeling. The intro also gets small tweaks as the show goes on and things happen in the story. - I've found that the previews for JJK are pretty tame in terms of giving away much. They're basically cut as a hype trailer and don't give much away in terms of how the next episode goes, so I wouldn't worry too much about having to kill the episode right as they come on, though I don't know how low your tolerance for spoilers is. - Starting from episode 3, there's a gag segment called "Jujutsu Stroll" that plays between the end credits and the preview. IMO they're worth including in your reaction, as they're generally pretty entertaining (or just plain weird). - Episode 8 in particular is different in that it has a legit post-credits scene that's part of the storyline _and_ a Jujutsu Stroll after that.

That dog is standing so still I didn't think it was real...thought it was one of those taxidermy animals 😅 and yeah yuji (the main character) already had the muscles before he was very physically fit which is something the show put alot of emphasis on that fact in the first episode and I can't wait to see ypu guys react to all the episodes cause rn it looks like you THINK you know what's ginna happen in the show but you're gonna definitely be suprised with alot of the things that happen

Yea. The logic behind this would be that two negatives repel. So a cursed object can repel cursed energy, but it needs to be a strong cursed object so that it wont lose to invading curses, hence they put a strong cursed object to protect the school since school=spooky stuff just like cemeteries=spooky stuff. The people however doesnt know how strong the finger is exactly so there was too little protection. And i doubt they took it too seriously like the occult club did.
It's not that megumi (spieky black hair emo kid) couldn't kill the curse it's just that the curse cought him off gourd and landed a fatal hit on him just like cleafyin diss cause lots of reactors think that he is weak
Although he definitely does appear weak since he couldn't even save Itadori's friends or Itadori himself. The only reason he survived that ordeal was cause itadori came through the window and cause Itadori ate the finger. Had he been stronger Itadori could have continued his normal life.
I did NOT notice the dog at the start of the video for like 20 seconds and when I finally noticed him/her I instantely POG CHAMPED at how cute he/she is.
Basically, the answer for Itadori's strength, our main protagonist, is that he's very atletic and good on sports, you can say it's his talent. The teacher challenges him because he wants Itadori in the sports club. Unless some motive is presented in the future because I don't read the manga and so far the anime hasn't show some clue at all.
u gotta remember that his strength is pretty supernatural though, in this ep Megumi mentions that Yuji runs as fast as a car and Yuji breaks the record in shot put casually (even though he through it like a baseball it's still pretty nuts)

My first fave of this show was Yuuji for the longest....Then I continued with the manga and became a Megumi fan. But the whole cast is awesome!
