It does not seem that Ukrainian fortifications are slowing the Russians any more. Maybe the FABs and drones and artillery are softening up the fortifications to a point that fortifications do not slow the Russians down much any more.

Their strongest fortifications were around the 2014 line, once the Russians got past that it's easy
The problem is they are not dug in as good as Russia. Every time they get pushed back the lines get worse and worse. Until the slow the Russians for a few weeks they will never have time to build better stuff
Instead of sending 66 billion dollars the US should have just sent some white sheets
We have a border crisis but we have to supply Ukraine so they can lose slower. What a joke this government is.
US doesnt send money directly, they send money to the military contracts who use it to build more weapons to replace the already built weapons which they send to Ukraine for free.
The Russians, in the north, are just getting a slow start.
They've got fire team, squads, platoons and commanders who've never carried out a real assault before, at least not with their new tactics and equipment. They're just getting an easy start, so that everyone can solidify their confidence and coordination with other units. Once the command is confident that they're ready, watch out.
