  • In this video, I had previously ran four paydirts through a Blue Bowl. This demonstration is to see the capture rate of the Blue Bowl by using the Royal Miller Table to run those tailings. I have to say I was quite impressed with the final results as I just did not think the Blue Bowl would only have a 1% loss rate. The Royal Miller Table caught all the rest of it but one round piece I saw float off the table.
    I usually run the table at a 1/4 or 3/16th of an inch drop across the entire thing. I started at a 1/2 inch drop and that was way too much. Maybe that setting is more inline with very heavy material like all black sands but for this material is was too much for my liking.
    Any questions or comments can also be sent to goldpansuntan@gmail.com. Dont forget, channel stickers are always free around here so if you want one please email an address for me to send them to and Ill get them right out the door!
    I sure hope our videos leave you encouraged to brave the outdoors, research how to find the elusive gold, plan your precious time to spend, get out there to get your own adventures started and teach everyone along the way who is willing to learn right along side you! Hope I someday earn your subscription and look forward to helping fellow prospectors learn new gold catching techniques as well as the old tried and true ones!
    Thank you for taking your time to watch and if you have subscribed I owe you a debt of gratitude!

      @Goldpan-SuntanNM  8 місяців тому

      Wow, great statement/question. I guess not really. But here is my final answer. In the Summer when I have no time, hell no. In the Winter where I might be bored to death hell yes 🤣🤣 Happy Thanksgiving!

  • @billj1971

    What do you mean when you said 5 am accommodation ?

    • @Goldpan-SuntanNM
      @Goldpan-SuntanNM  8 місяців тому +1

      Oh man I knew someone would ask me about this. Amps are a thing that all electrical appliances create when they work. This particular set up needs at least a 5 Amp capacity to run the pump. Without that the pump won't run as fast as it could, if needed. In layman's terms, amps are kind of like calories, and how many you need for a certain task. A big job needs more calorie intake to perform task and get er done. Same with tools, a big tool will do big things, therefore they have a higher amp draw rating to accommodate for the power of the tool.
      Hope that makes sense and Happy Thanksgiving!

    I'm sure that the way some of the gold is... I call rolly-polly (after the bug). Any process has some loss... I only pan and sluice...usually go back and forth to finally catch the little escapees 😂😂😂

    I wonder if you would have the same results if you did the Miller table first then the blue bowl? What do you think?

    • @Goldpan-SuntanNM
      @Goldpan-SuntanNM  6 місяців тому

      I'm pretty sure you would. Those two pieces of equipment lose a certain kind of gold... well I should say a certain shape of gold. The flat peices have a tendency to escape the blue bowl as the water current can sweep it away. So.. If you started with the Miller Table, you could lose the round peices of gold but it would catch all the flat ones. Then you could take the tailings, throw them in the Blue Bowl and the round ones that were lost on the Miller Table would get caught in the Blue Bowl. Hope all that makes sense I was kind of long winded 🤣
