That bay off Sailfish Point is where I anchor often to go for a swim off my boat. The houses on Sailfish Point are extremely expensive!

Honestly I don’t really like to run on the sea in the dark especially on the rough sea but you did well.I really like the weather in the morning at the sea luckily my house is near the sea,just keep alert on the weather and tsunami siren.stay safe captain will wait for the next video

Very true captain life bait helps a lot but sometimes I do use life paint and I don't see a difference because I use squid and I can do better with that it's amazing how things work sometimes thank you for watching and being a awesome viewer for my channel captain
Wall dog I believe he uses navionics from Garmin all the mapping comes from NOAA and them each company adds there add ons. Bluegabe was on his cmor maps on his gps outside his home channel I went on my navionics from Garmin on my iPhone same picture it’s all about the same JT HOOKED N ROLLING OFFSHORE 🇺🇸🇺🇸🐟🐠🎣🛥

Yes i agreed with you cap. Is too much already to take your yatch crew and passengers and the testing too, is too much, but alot of us are doing the same and that will impact their small island tourism .

I'm heading to a friend's place in coral gables next month and we are taking his boat out to the keys and Bahamas, hopefully see you out there. It depends on the weather though because I know it's hurricane season around August but it should be alright 🌴🥥🛥️💨💨

I haven’t read all the comments, a little bit of information I picked up on another channel is in high current areas leave the big motor in gear to help the Minn kota stay in position. I personally have not tried it but the thought seems solid.

You ever thought about re-powering your boat with smaller twin outboards? It seems you go offshore a good bit, might be not be a bad idea to run with twins incase so you have that extra motor to get back.
My transom is only made for 1 engine captain

Captain have you looked into the Power pole Charge? It's a real nice battery management system. Will charge your lithium batteries on the run and also draw from them for your starting batteries in an emergency. They are expensive but very nice. Also works as a charger/maintainer.

@@OutOnTheReef it's 3 devices in one. Makes sure you got juice where you need it. Will charge your trolling motor batteries with your outboard alternator, also will sound an alarm if your starting/house batteries are low and will leave reserve juice for starting. They are just expensive as heck.

Ive seen you break the line and straighten alot of hooks....you need to adjust your drag on your reel accordingly or you will continue to loose the big fish. Also you can leave your main engine on and keep it in forward gear to assist the trolling motor in strong current. If your boat is equipt with a charger it will also charge your batteries...good luck captain.

I kept my boat at the marina. We could go and they would drop it in the water almost daily. Spent many a nights on that boat. Those were great days but I don’t miss it.

@@OutOnTheReef storage outside was $250 a month. That includes in and out once daily. It was well worth it considering I didn’t have to trailer it and could go even if I just had a few hours.

@@OutOnTheReef I had old bella 560 HT for quite some time. Sold it and now waiting for aluminum Falcon C7 (Locally made by Bella boats), which should be ready quite soon. I am from eastern Finland lake district (hundreds of kilometers of connected lakes) but sometimes I take my boat to the Baltic Sea.

@@OutOnTheReef Thanks! Your boat is very ideal for it's purpose. Baltic Sea is cold and dangerous but in the summer it's quite enjoyable. In spring it's also intriguing to navigate between floating ice fields. Last year some of them were +40kilometers in radius/size. Like a floating islands. Constantly changing in shape and location

I have the same charger, I’ve had it do that to me before, it randomly turns off one bank and doesn’t charge it.
the good thing is they have 3 year warrantee but they are awesome 👍

My Yamaha 200 is an awesome engine captain I keep it up with maintenance so I never have problems so far it's been like 4 years And never left me stranded there are incredible

@@OutOnTheReef Looks like your fishing experience was similar to my usual one. 😄Sailfish flats is where you anchored, very nice area. About 5 miles south on the ICW, there is another anchorage area called Peck Lake. It has a footpath from the ICW to the beach. Nice area with no one around for miles.

You can get the covid home test for free or pay a company $400? LOL For DR Appt's I took 6 tests, and all came back neg. I don't plan on taking any more tests either. Time to go fishing!
