I'm giving props to the packaging designers for making the pizza box, the wrappers and most importantly the stains inside the box! The stains are so real! And the transformer is really making me missing an old school bus i used to ride. The bot design is not bad either even if seeing how difficult to push the chest piece in.
I thought the same when I saw this for the first time. Give us this with a variety of head accessories and weapons so we can have whichever of the turtles we want on display.
A little trivia for those who didn't see the show: - The barbed bat is a prominent weapon from the show - The flamethrower mode of the weapon is of course referencing the flamethrowers used against the monster vines in the show - The headsculpt's top shows the brain analyzer thing that was used on the show's protagonist when the government experimented on her - The soldier-like face represents the government soldiers who are after the protagonist, specifically the ones in the chopper from the last season where the Pizza Van showed up I'm saying this to highlight the amount of attention and thought that went into this figure. Kudos to Hasbro for this. It's a good crossover figure.b
The figure wrap in a loose map of the route they travel on Stranger Things while riding the delievery truck, show read as van. Head sculpt is head set employee uses when taking orders.
Ninja Turtle van remold coming soon. Betting they use the same pizza box. Otherwise my target has 2 stacks of these vans but still haven’t seen an SS Snarl
I wish someone at Hasbro turn the Dilophocon mold into a Demogorgon. It won't even take that much retooling, and that mold would look amazing as a Demogorgon.
One of the details I missed (and somebody online pointed out) is that Code Red's thighs look like FILE CABINETS. This is a brilliant reference for the show's top secret government files and experiments.
They should sell that Autobot and Decepticon tissue paper. I mean I would love to get a gift with that and you could always do weapons like that if you are reselling.
Just picked my preorder up today from Gamestop. I like the packaging I think that is where half the cost is. It is a nice figure, fair size easy transformation and an official licensed VW. Its a new mold which is really nice for a crossover we usually dont get that. I felt it was worth the price.I plan on displaying mine with the Pizza box in the background.
Honestly didn't care much for this figure on first impression. This review only cemented that. Not a bad figure, just not something I'd want in my collection. Great review!
This is one of the best crossovers since back to the future and Ghostbusters even though those 2 are actually remoulds and this is a brand new mould, when announced i was expecting an ironhide/ratchet retool but nope
To be fair, he mass-shifts into a Voyager class size in robot mode, and the packaging took up a lot of that cost, but I think the pacakging looks neat.
The chrome painted head makes zero sense to me. the rest of the figure only has the painted energon blue windows and red tempographs. they should have just left the head the same light grey as the arms and thighs.

I kinda wish this was the ninja turtles pizza wagon. This mold was perfect for it. Also hi balt hope youre doing well.
I've always thought Legacy Bulkhead with a different canopy piece would make a superb pizza wagon.
