Have you upgraded your bike battery for all your tech ? As my bike struggles with the givi lights and the heated grips .. another great informative vid
Thanks for checking out the channel, I have the original battery still on the bike. I have no problem running Oxford hot grips and the givi lights at the same time but if I try to run my heated jacket as well then I don't have enough power to keep the battery charging. I can however run the hot grips and my heated clothing without the givi lights with no problem. Ride safe 👍
Hi ..hope you are enjoying your riding now even more with the pandemic sort of cooling off! Hopefully we get back to pre covid levels of riding soon. Had a quick question.. the little handle where you have installed all your switches for your gadgets...where did you pick that up from..would love to have that installed on my Benelli too! Appreciate your reply. Safe travels!!
Hi thank you for checking out the channel. The thing about the TRK is that it is a heavy bike but as with most bikes once it is moving the weight is not noticeable. I believe there are some reproduction carbon fibre parts for the bike now on the market which will shave some weight off the bike but to be honest I don't think that in reality it would make a difference to the real world feel and handling of the bike. I think the biggest thing is to look at the weight of any accessories you may want to add to the bike and look at what is available. For example when buying luggage such as top boxes and side cases, try and decide what is most important to you, weight vs size/capacity and robustness. I chose to have large steel side cases and top box as I do a lot of long distance touring carrying a lot of expensive camera equipment. However this option adds a lot of weight to the bike compared to using soft smaller side bags. Also when packing items on your bike try and put the heaviest items at the bottom of your side cases or as low as possible on the bike. Heavy items stowed in a top box will make the bike top heavy and make the bike feel heavier than it actually is Sorry but there is no easy fix for the weight of the TRK.
Hi I have my go pro remote mounted to the handlebars using the cradle provided in the box when you buy it. It has a velcro strap which you can tighten around the bar. For the 360 remote I also use the mount which comes in the box and it is mounted on a givi accessory bar, the details of which can be found in this video. Ride safe 👍 ua-cam.com/video/txo1ve8zHfc/v-deo.html

Good morning
Do you know any way to reduce the bike weight a bit? Does it make sense?
Thanks a lot
