The Let’s Go I used in the ‘90’s was all over the Capuchin Crypt as a macabre must-see. 😊 San Clemente is a fascinating place. I’ve visited it multiple times and always recommend it. You need reservations these days but their web site is easy to navigate.
Yes, that's the eerie part of Italy, since this stuff is pretty much present all along the country, from North to South, even if they're not famous touristic places at all, for a reason.
This is a good presentation. (6 out of 10) I expected a few mor details. For examples a talk related to the marvelous fresco at the start of the video. Mithreum.....? Please explain......Capuchin crypt visit......Faaaaaar tooooo sharp and short!!!!!! Thirty years ago we took the children 4, 5, 6, to the catacomb. They were fascinated not a toll scared. Kevin the five year old decided to take one of the mummy back home to NZ since will make an excellent scarecrows!!!!!!
Great Presentation 👍
This basilica is on my list. Thank you for the detailed video explaining the place! 🙏🏼
When I return I would love to visit this location
The Capuchin Crypt is unique. Not scary as much as different.

What about the Convento dei Frati Cuppuccini? That one is in Rome proper.
Wish i had a guide on that lowest level in san clemente. It looked cool but I didn’t know there was an ancient street.
