I dont think Kaeya is ashamed of his singing he subtle tells venti that only the "true" believers should be singing church hymns and venti subtly replies that its fine and he should join in with everyone kaeya accepts the invitation and the quest ends. So I dont think he is shy about singing there was just a lot of subtext and he joins in by the end.
this video was so enjoyable to watch & so well written! you put so many of my thoughts on his character post-experiencing the hangout into words, it felt like a breath of fresh air to watch! i really appreciated your emphasis on his strong will and his candid, though not impersonal, kindness. i think lots of people will get stuck on his suave way with words and miss out on how good, genuinely good, he is at his core. i think you really captured his essence wonderfully! i’ll definitely be checking out more of your analyses :))
