Spent 2.5 hours setting up a full starting xi of youth academy players and bench options for a career mode. Finished in 2nd in bundesliga 3 and the only game I played was the last game of the season which I won 5-0. I was subsequently sacked while earning promotion, and giving the home fans a good final game because I didn't play some retiring guy in his last game. Always KEEP TRACK OF YOUR CONFIDENCE RATING and if it get's low save your game so you can come back to it. I was really proud of the team I'd built and was ready to go and properly enjoy the team next season having finally set it all up. But no.
what i don't understand about this FIFA is that almost every youth player is a winger, no matter what position the scout says they are, if you look at their development plan you'll end up noticing their overall goes up when changing them to a winger position, in like 90% of times. that's so frustrating, it's virtually impossible to find a good CM or ST for example.
Literally started my first create-a-club career mode a week ago, and there was a god tier player in my youth academy at the beginning. I’m 5 seasons in and he’s now a 97 rated RW. I didn’t even know you could have players become that high rated
I had the same thing with fifa 20, I had only got it when I already had fifa 21, and didn't know dynamic potential was in it, and by the 8th season, I had 99 mbappe and 97 vinicius
Whenever I start a career mode on fifa 22 I never get any good like future stats like he had a 70 rated player and I have a Xbox x if that’s anything to do with it but the highest I’ve ever gotten is 56 do you know why this is?

I’d rather have 5-10 scouts who return 2-5 players each month, rather than having an academy filled with 3 nationalities effectively on rotation. They really need to fix the fact you can’t scout CB’s as so many CDM’s and FB’s are under 6ft tall, and seemingly 90% of them are left footed
Generally, the lower overall youth academy players (Mostly 30-50 Overall) are by default in a different position and so is there potential, so I recommend instead of simply releasing those players, try to change their position first, you may end up with a hidden gem.
Only a small percentage of lower overall YA players will get a significant enough boost by changing position, and if they do the upgrade still only makes them as good as a standard 60 - 65 OVR YA Player.

I had a fifa 19 career mode and I got to 2034 and every real player had retired, so every player was a youth player, and the best youth player I had was Angelo de la cruz (68-87) with 92 potential and rio Sampson (56-68) with 95 potential. Probably the best career mode I have ever had, and would be so excited to get home from school do I could play it. In the end it just retired me because I got so far 😔
What happens to me a lot, is a 32-44 rated player with 74-94 potential which i then sign. Most of the times its a player in the wrong position. Had a cb with 72 dribbling, 65 passing and 61 shooting. I think it was a 65/66 cam eventually

I love these videos, I always wanted you to make young players with the most traits. There nothing on UA-cam for that. Finding a player younger than 21 or so with like 5-7 traits would be the perfect video for a career mode
Well the tip I founded by myself is if you find a player with decent value(anything around $ 450,00 or higher, depending on next signal) and an amazing max overall but mid to low potential or vice versa, then is most likely to be a player with a trait

Sometimes a high potential player has a low overall only because he is in the wrong position before you sign him to the YA. so sign them then change them to see before just discarded
The Overall change is only significant if the player has a low Overall, and still unlikely to boost above 65 OVR. Worthwhile if your doing a RTG but otherwise, it’s better to try for higher overall players.
Also best youth players will be founded when you send the scout to his home country.. Like you had that estonian scout.. send him to estonia He will find same amazing talents
Canada is a underrated country to get players from. I’ve had so many Canadian players make it out my youth academy and just in a year play on my starting XL. Highly recommend scouting Canada
I find the youth system on fifa to be really boring and repetitive, every career mode I have about 5 wingers with basically identical stats, and development plans make them even more similar
Currently doing a custom Red Bull team, replaced Mansfield in League 2 since it's the closest team to my home area and I am using mostly youth players for the save. Then every season I sell one or two of my high rated players as Red Bull teams like Leipzig are known to have good youth players. So this vid is definitely gonna help a bit more.

A forest green save im doing had a 48 rated rb scouted... slapped him straight to striker and went up to like 68... loaned him for 4 straight seasons and peaked at 92. Also screw the development system honestly. It ruins the immersion when literally everyone bar defenders can have 5*5* and high high workrated.

Don’t underestimate South & North America. I find total gems there all the time. Japan is great for technical players and Africa has been great for CDM and strikers in ny experience. Another important tactic is to create a diverse team!! Keep in mind that most international tournaments occur all the time throughly the season, so is best to have players from everywhere so you don’t find totalled without available players because they’re all off representing their countries.
When you check the potential of the academy players on the 1st of the month and the pot/ovr has narrowed, if you reload it , it can change. Save the day before, then check
i always set up scouts on the 2nd of July for 6 months, then 2nd of January for 6 months, and despite them being on the same day the sheer amount of players that come in usually fill up both our squad and academy rosters and always promote to 1st team ASAP and loan out
Not long ago I had a glitched home grown talent, he was a 23 rated goalkeeper but had the stats of a striker 4 star 4 star and was actually a 70 rated striker. Shame I can't change his position and I can only upgrade his gk stats
I have a youth CDM which was ovr 61 develop to 75 in one season as I bring him on when I’m winning 3/4-0 in the 65th minute. I play on legendary. I always have them in my subs bench so he can keep his sharpness up. Heading into season 2 I’m looking to get him to 79/80 at least

About that loaning in the end, make sure it's a team that struggles in that spot. I loaned i high valued player (rb) with 90-94 potential 71 rated for 2 years, it was to Norwich, and their rb was somewhere between 79-83. I scouted their team, but forgot who was what rated.
I’ve realized the bigger your club is the less likely for your youth graduates to go on loan. I’ve tried to do a Valencia save & none of my graduates were getting loans, I then chose Vitesse & every graduate went out on loan
The worst thing is that he does not look for talents who have a good pace :( the max I saw was 78 and yet such Mbappe as a 16-year-old was already fast ..

Not really, but their potential won’t be effected by Dynamic Potential factors in the YA. Whereas it could downgrade if they don’t get enough game time in the Senior Squad.
Has anyone else notice and been frustrated with how even when u find a gem of a youth player no matter which nation & position he's in their pace stats are still terrible? it's been like this as far as i can remember fifa having YA. So i just end up using my normal scouts to look for players from 16-19 with the pacey and promising trait.
Nah usually all of them are quick, or will definetly increase pace during their careers. Its getting those "technically gifted" players above 7 physicals thats the challenge.

What I always do with solid looking YA players. Save game with the player still in Academy. Promote. Check Potential & Other Positions. Reload with player still in Academy. Development Plan to change position (if Team Management showed an upgrade). I leave in Academy because without regular Match Time the player’s potential may drop.
It really sucks even now there's no way of getting homegrown talent if you never pre ordered. Last year at least I could buy ultimate or champions edition of FIFA and get the Homegrown talent but this year nothing 🙄
I got one in my current Kaiserslautern career. A German Striker in the initial scout report with Potential to be special. This is probably the first time I've ever got one. He is now 71 rated aged 17, I planned to buy Moukouko, but no need now. 😂

Why should reports not come on the same days? Also what country in you experience have you gotten the best players? Tip from me to anyone reading this: Never sign a youth player with a range of 45 and below cause their growth rates are bad and also sometimes a player with an overall of 37 can go upto 90 with right conditions if you play them in a position that work well with their highest stats example if he has a pace of 87 but the rest are bad make sure u take advantage and use his pace as time goes by he will improve.
If all reports return on the same day, and return poor players you then have to reload all Scout Reports, far easier and more effective to reload one report at a time.

In case you want something unreal, you may play FUT mode, where every 80+ player sprints and shoots like a beast. So, the career mode is one of the most realistic in the game and it has to stay in this frame.
Does scouting attackers gives you players like Lewandowski even if out of position I can change to ST, I'm just wondering because physically strong gives me attackers with good physical stats but very low attacking stats.

Hey, I was wondering how can you loan out a player without a loan-to-buy option. All clubs only want players on loan to buy and not just regular loans.
Probably should mention that you all but *have* to delegate your loans since the AI will never accept a loan without loan to buy which *will* lose you a lot of young gems if you manually negotiate everything. Just to make sure to mention it.
I haven’t been getting back any CBs… I just got Fifa 22 and a new Xbox series X. Sent my 5*5 scout out in Germany for 6 months looking for Physically strong and all I’ve been getting back is fullbacks

Honestly, there is only minimal difference between 3 & 4 Star, I’d wait until you were in a position to get 5 star scouts.

Not really, but their potential won’t be effected by Dynamic Potential factors in the YA. Whereas it could downgrade if they don’t get enough game time in the Senior Squad.
Is loan with an option to buy ok too? Or will the youth player just chose to leave?
I don’t want to risk loosing the player, so I avoid loan to buy deals
Has anyone else notice and been frustrated with how even when u find a gem of a youth player no matter which nation & position he's in their pace stats are still terrible? it's been like this as far as i can remember fifa having YA. So i just end up using my normal scouts to look for players from 16-19 with the pacey and promising trait.
Nah usually all of them are quick, or will definetly increase pace during their careers.
Its getting those "technically gifted" players above 7 physicals thats the challenge.

What I always do with solid looking YA players.
Save game with the player still in Academy.
Promote.
Check Potential & Other Positions.
Reload with player still in Academy.
Development Plan to change position (if Team Management showed an upgrade).
I leave in Academy because without regular Match Time the player’s potential may drop.

It would be a long project but definitely possible.
It really sucks even now there's no way of getting homegrown talent if you never pre ordered. Last year at least I could buy ultimate or champions edition of FIFA and get the Homegrown talent but this year nothing 🙄
I got one in my current Kaiserslautern career. A German Striker in the initial scout report with Potential to be special. This is probably the first time I've ever got one. He is now 71 rated aged 17, I planned to buy Moukouko, but no need now. 😂
Honestly I just invest the time and exploit the save the day before glitch, always land a $3 million+ high 60's guy

Tip from me to anyone reading this:
Never sign a youth player with a range of 45 and below cause their growth rates are bad and also sometimes a player with an overall of 37 can go upto 90 with right conditions if you play them in a position that work well with their highest stats example if he has a pace of 87 but the rest are bad make sure u take advantage and use his pace as time goes by he will improve.
If all reports return on the same day, and return poor players you then have to reload all Scout Reports, far easier and more effective to reload one report at a time.

@@FCGems fifa22 or any other fifa is a game, which is totally based on the ongoing football competitions and games. In case you want something unreal, you may play FUT mode, where every 80+ player sprints and shoots like a beast. So, the career mode is one of the most realistic in the game and it has to stay in this frame.
Does scouting attackers gives you players like Lewandowski even if out of position I can change to ST, I'm just wondering because physically strong gives me attackers with good physical stats but very low attacking stats.
Attackers give only a few strikers who are not tall and are better suited to wingers

Always get absolute shite me. Prefer to blitz the u18s free agents always find at least 5 gems a year between 65-70 get them straight on loan

Probably should mention that you all but *have* to delegate your loans since the AI will never accept a loan without loan to buy which *will* lose you a lot of young gems if you manually negotiate everything. Just to make sure to mention it.

I often don't get loan offers for pots players. Is there a solution?
I’ve never not got loan offers in for high potential Youth Academy Graduates over 64 OVR.
Every player that I try to loan out, they want a loan to buy option. Anyway to make that stop?
Just delegate to a normal loan
Or just accept and resign the contract with the player
When I loan out players they never get game time, is there anything I can do to prevent this
Unless you loan to a team in the same league, there is no way to check on player’s game time.
