I think this advice should apply to us INXJ males too. We badly should be in need of good male friends who enable our growth. But beware of people who you choose to be your friends. I honestly find it very difficult to find men who doesn't wanna waste time in temporary pleasure instead of working on building a good future for themselves or others. I think it's better to have no friends rather than having bad friends, I might be wrong though.
I found this to be true as an INTJ, too. When I was younger, my life only started to improve when I left my old friends that didn't want anything to do with self-improvement, they were useless. As they say "you're the reflection of the people around you". I'm curious about Joseph's opinion...
As an INTP having friends who didn't have any reciprocity on goals didn't affected me much to improve myself. I see relationships as enjoyment more than a way of growth even if I would someone with some same knowledge as me to have some deep conversations on interesting subjects for me. I prefer having friends than having none even if my friends aren't goal oriented etc... Not only because I don't want to be alone a long time, I like to be alone for a time but loneliness seems to be a big restrictions for my abilities. I think us INTP would be in deep envy of interaction while being alone than productivity at something more escaping toward entertainment and overthinking.
I’m an INTP, my dad is an INTJ. I literally froze when you said NJ parents enable NP children because I’m struggling to get out of that. So interesting, I never knew that was a pattern
Such cool video! You touched lots of important points. It’s actually a relief that you’re taking the burden of strengthening Si men into male community. As mothers I guess we can provide community integration opportunities for our children but as partners I agree that the best is simply to stay away from immature Si men. Side comment: Mustache season was my favorite, fun like Frank Zappa and bold like Freddie Mercury, also it gives off cool Aquarius vibes.
A family full of Si users is a very bad thing because they enable each other when they agree on something and get really frustrated when others have different standards. They then often realise that if they call out their family member they will get called out right back and if they aren't from a turbulent household, they will feel even more uncomfortable.
How can you simultaneously believe in zodiac signs and jungian personality types? Aren’t zodiac signs literally disproven by jungian personality types??
I think he went quite far away from Jung's psychological types and is much closer to Socionics (Quadras) and Beebe (8 functions system). If he would be Jungian he would not be talking about ''Si users'' since all types use Si, quadras would not be a thing and he would not be using the Grant function stack (xE-xI-xE-xI and xI-xE-xI-xE). He also would put more emphasis on the Primary and less so on the Inferior, I realized that when he describes types it often ends up sounding like their opposites, which is typical of Socionics.
@@rpoutine3271 no not really… but it makes zero difference anyway. How can he believe what he teaches about psychology, and then give validity to zodiac signs. I don’t understand it, they totally contradict each other entirely, right?
@Brickwilliams he doesn't fully subscribe to zodiac, more of an optimistic entertainment of a pattern. Like everything else observation of patterns are a thing. There's usually *some* Validity to any kind of pattern observed. Doesn't mean it's totally accurate

I am a INFP man with no friends, its pretty hard when you are young INFP. Other males are not interested in wanting to be your friend because your are not masculine or cool enough and you have nothing of value to offer, you come of as too childish, weak and innocent, when they do come to you feel their just doing it because they feel sorry for you. I avoided friendships offered by girls because I felt like a burden on them to carry a male around in the social group and I felt like they didn't really want me again, so I ended up with nothing. Time goes by you get old first your 20 year old in college than your suddenly a 30 year old looking for a job .Friends just become hard to come by after that no one wants to hang out with a loser man at this age. Also being a loner becomes your identity , its not something you can really get rid off at this point. So what your saying chase, if the the NP man doesn't have any male friends to sharpen him and only female friends he becomes some sissy boy or dirty manipulating lowlife. If he has no friends at all he becomes a schizo deranged psycho. Sounds about right.
I'll take your advice but the kind of people I like tend not to fit into social norms. Me getting a friend is most likely a bad idea given I am in a country where people are closely watched for who they make friends with. Critical thought, eccentricity and opinions are frowned upon and can even get you sectioned (institutionalised and man/woman handled by people you really don't want to be handled by). I think I should leave the country before I make friends.
