    Great review of an incredible figure seconds after opening it it instantly became the favorite in my collection. I share your enthusiasm for both the original and the upcoming release from Robert Eggers

      It’s a beautiful piece. I can help but to find myself wandering in my man cave and moving him into a different pose then putting the rats in different places. Normally I pose something and place it in my detolf and literally not touch it in years… this one is definitely different.

    A terrifying figure, it is handled very believably. I know that movie that was silent and it was pretty scary. It was actually the predecessor of Dracula, the film was made at a time when the rights to Dracula had not yet expired, so it was given the no less creepy name Nosferatu. But that's just for fun, otherwise it's a very nice figure :)

      Always found Count Orlok far more terrifying than Count Dracula. Orlok was more of a pure monster…while Dracula all I got to do is not invite him in and keep his velvet voice, slick hair, and fancy dress ass away from my wife. Max made Orlok terrifying and Bela made Dracula a lady’s man.

    Wish i could've been able to snag the web exclusive,that doorway is so awesome!! But was able to snag the deluxe with the coffin at least,can't wait until he gets here!!

      You’ll still be over the moon. The figure truly is the star of the show no matter what version you get. I swear there isn’t a pose you can put him in that he doesn’t look creepy or downright terrifying.

    You and I both have the Black Heart Nosferatu bust, incidentally we both got this web exclusive.
    Honestly speaking I think I prefer this piece (and the dio, and the coffin) and the letter replica over that wonderful bust. It has an equal presence and so many accessories.
    Hutter’s doorway is also wildly accurate and an absolute trip to interact with.

      We are collecting brothers from different mothers. 😁 I also have a framed Nosferatu Sideshow print it shows up in my last picture. I agree this set is more of a stand out then the bust because it’s has an incredible presence. Worth every damn penny. As for the character himself I personally have always found Count Orlok far more Terrifying then Count Dracula. I remember seeing an image of Nosferatu/Orlok in a horror mag iwhen I was about 7 or 8 and just the picture scared the bejeezus out of me. Count Dracula was smooth, handsome, and refined. Orlok looked like a beast and not human…a true monster and honestly the first monster. Being a huge horror fan I see him as the one who came first and started it all.
      BTW congrats on getting him with only 180 sets worldwide…finding one after word gets out how great this is will be impossible to find. I consider us lucky to get him when we did. Take care - Jase

    Where did you get the peg stand for the alternate head sculpt? I need to get one for mine.

      Those are Neca head stands. You can find them at most collectible stores (BBTS or Entertainment Earth) and even Amazon has had them before.

      @@MarshallMadeCollectiblesI bought some, but they don't fit. The tips aren't large enough and are a bit wobbly.

      @@AwesomeTitanicI use a tiny amount of blu tack and then seat your head on the post and you’re golden. This way you can still use the form and you’re not stretching or making any alterations to your sculpts no matter what head you’re displaying. This little trick has allowed me to display multiple heads with my pieces instead of hiding these works of art in a box somewhere in my closet. Take care - Jase

    Being italian myself, i love seeing how much you foreign collectors appreciate this figure. This is the best we can do I think! I couldnt afford it, but hope you can fully enjoy the figure and play with it and its accessories at the best! Nice video!

      I think 1/6 scale figure and monster collectors truly appreciate passion and detail. This figure no matter the version people ultimately end up getting captures both. You can tell a lot of effort went into the sculpt, tailoring, and the handling of each and every accessory. Topped off with excellent paint apps it’s simply stunning. Thanks for watching. Take care - Jase

    It's a great figure. I'm not sure why the door on the diorama doesn't have a handle though...

    • @MarshallMadeCollectibles
      @MarshallMadeCollectibles  Рік тому +2

      Because it’s a direct copy of the bedroom door of Thomas Hutter’s from the original 1922 movie and it didn’t have a door handle or a knob. So, it was done on purpose.

      I rewatched before doing this video because it’s been years since I watched it and granted it’s a silent film but it holds up incredibly well. I was particularly interested in how the door and his coffin looked in the film knowing I was going to do an unboxing. Both are spot on and incredibly faithful to what appears on film. Looking forward to the remake coming out next year with Bill Skarsgård as Count Orlok.

      @@MarshallMadeCollectibles I think I have my viewing sorted out for this evening! I have the figure on preorder, and it really does look fantastic. I'm very cautious about remakes, but fingers crossed that it's one of the good ones.

    • @MarshallMadeCollectibles
      @MarshallMadeCollectibles  Рік тому +1

      I love how Skarsgård will get lost is character. So I’m hoping for an Orlok that is based on the original design but creepier if possible. What will be weird is in my head I always imagined his voice to be gravely and deep with the thick Transylvanian accent. So it will be interesting what he sounds like. If you never watched Shadow of the Vampire - William Defoe plays Max Schreck playing Count Orlok…it’s based on the fact during filming the crew became scared of Max because he was a method actor and stayed in character. Anyway Defoe
      Nails the voice plus it’s a great movie. Which has some laugh out moments too.
