7:35 this ultramarine is called "finest" because its particles are grinded finer; particles are smaller and thanks to that this ultramarine don't granulate (like normal ultramarine would do)

I do not have a Potter's Pink and if I decide to get one it will probably be Schmincke as you are not the first person to say it's a bit pinker than most. I also have a thing for blues and greens so I might get a few of those but that is up for debate as I have not been able to justify the prices on Schmincke watercolors.

Just looked at the prices... eh nope, still can't justify them.

@@rayne6737 Schmincke cost about the as Daniel smith here in Sg (ie. equally expensive).

@@eurekawanders Not quite the case here but Daniel Smith is made here and Schmincke is not. That always makes a difference. A lot of Schmincke tubes run 15 to 20 dollars here. I'm curious how much they are there in dollars?

      For ultramarine blue 15ml , DS= SGD12.40, Schmincke =SGD16.40 and winsor & newton = SGD20.56. 😱

It's nice to have a video with all the colors, thank you for sharing 😊💕
As for the colors, there are plenty that I love:
The rutile yellow, aureolin hue, cobalt azure, cobalt turquoise, madder brown, transparent siena are really great colors that I think I'll stick to Schmincke for the future

Good choices! My favourite Schmincke colour is cobalt blue deep. The granulation is insane.

Oh Miss Alice so many beautiful colors! I too can talk about them for hours! I have been fighting myself to buy the new granulation colors! I can't even find any potters pink here where I live, so sad 😞! Keep up the great videos! Take care 🙂 💕!

Oh no... no potters pink! Could you get them online? I order them from Jackson’s.

Oh, I literally just finished doing this! As in, I just put my brush down maybe two minutes ago 😂 it took quite some time, but it's nice to have it done. I do wish they listed the pigment information on the card, though. Neither Schmincke nor Daniel Smith puts that info on the card, but it's so convenient to have. The Shinhan PWC dot card had the pigment info printed with all the rest, I liked that so much 😅
As for favourites... I don't know. I feel kind of underwhelmed by a lot of them, like, they're fine but they don't make me really want them. I always love cobalt colors, though. I like how soft and pale the titanium yellow is, might get a pan of that at some point. I liked some of the granulating earth colors - maroon brown, mahogany brown (liked this one a lot), and Mars brown. I'm a little interested in their neutral tint, it's quite a purple color compared to others I've seen.

You got the card too!! 😂😂😂

Why can’t they include the pigment info! I had to go copy from Jackson’s. Where did you get the shinhan pwc dotcard? I would love to have it too.

They have a lot of “meh” reds. I agree with you about the cobalts and browns. The mahogany brown is so beautiful!

@@eurekawanders I'm taking the Pokémon approach to dot cards - gotta catch them all 😂 I found the Shinhan PWC one on a random Swedish art shop's website. I had no idea they existed, but it's a really good card! All the info you could want, and instead of just having a lightfastness rating they have two - they list the standard ASTM ratings for each individual pigment in a paint, as well as their own rating for the paint. And on the back they've got text explaining how their lightfastness testing is done.
I'm just really impressed by their dot card 😂

I've ordered Holbein and Mijello dot cards too, found them on a Spanish art shop called Artemiranda. I want, like, ALL of the dot cards, they're such a great idea and I do not understand why they're not a standard thing for every brand (or at least some kind of painted chart, instead of printed). With all the info on them!!
