Yes you can. Even if it's on purpose he hasn't kicked him with intent, he hasn't hit him in the face, he's literally touched the ball in the keepers hands. It's not a red card in any way, if you think otherwise then maybe go watch another sport.

@@Jayfive276 i don't think he did, to me it looks like he was already pulling his foot up to avoid the keeper before he made contact with the keeper.
I think a lot of people who haven't played competitive sports fail to understand how fast reactions are and decisions are made. A lot of things that look like they just "happen" are quite intentional.
This one wasn't even close to accidental. You are right, that is a schoolyard level shenanigan right there.

i was expecting another shit call when i heard about the red but that was completely his fault. lol meanwhile that hold on tozer on the corner 7:03 and then for barnet 12:48
it seems like i am the only person who doesn't understand the red. Well I understand he kicked the keeper in head, but it did look completely accidental to me. I guess motive doesn't really matter when it comes to the laws of sport, but still looked accidental to me. To me, it looked as though he was pulling his foot up to avoid the keeper, before his foot actually made contact with the keeper.
@@josephbrambil2868 Yeah but that accidental kick could be counted as "serious foul play" or "violent conduct" for which you can send off the player. And as you said it doesn't matter if it's accidental or not
@@RockerBoy28 reasonable minds can view this differently, cause at 4:49 to me it looks like he saw the keeper get the ball, he was running at too high speed to stop, and on his pivot foot he shifted his weight to the left to try and avoid the keeper but his leg got caught. Then you see the player almost fall over and hops on one foot to try and regain his balance, which illustrates that he was taken of guard by the contact and thought he would avoid contact.
However, I do agree that by the letter of the law, that can be considered a dangerous challenge even without intention since he was unable to avoid the keeper given his high speed, but it truly looks unintentional to me, and personally and subjectively, I find the red to be harsh even if justifiable under a the letter of the law

why not? i am not trying to start shit, but it honestly just looks accidental to me. While in the mist of a football match, it can be hard to completely pull back from a challenge in the mila seconds you realize the keeper has full grasp of the ball. It looked to me like the Wexham was trying to pull his leg up to avoid the goalie but accidently caught the top of his head.
Doesn’t help that he’s absolutely gash - not arsed if McFats ever pulls on a red shirt again.

@@josephbrambil2868 There was no way that was accidental. He's a soccer player. Having quick feet is the name of the game. He had more than enough time to move to the side of the goalkeeper or jump over him. He left his foot in there on purpose to hit the goalie in the face. I agree that I'd keep that dumbass on the bench for a long time. Taking a chance like this in a game at this point in the season is unbelievably stupid.

Poor performance really even before the ten men. With some teams pressing alot more, our midfield rarely gets control and the formation we use , it rarely allows our wing backs to get forward enough. We a totally different proposition at home where teams sit back mostly. Still in driving seat and fully confident we be champions this time next week with 2 home victories , if we play to the level we normally do at home.
Both teams couldn't wait for final whistle to start swapping shirts. The shirt pulling was ridiculous.

@@schrodingjer1308 Notts County have 2 matches left. Wrexham need 6 points from 3 matches, unless Notts drop some points. I can't see County dropping any more points.
Yeovil is probably the easyiest game we got left now.
Boreham wood will be fighting for the play offs and torquay are in better form than us and notts county after winning 5 games on the bounce, plus they will be fighting for there lives to stay up.
Torquay are still 21st and have conceded 72 goals. No match is easy but they should be comfortably beating teams like Torquay and Yeovil.
Dunno how Wrexham escaped with a point. Bees ran em ragged in 2nd half. Could b the point that brings them back into the League after ALL THOSE YEARS. ,
Barnet decent team but Hardly ran them ragged. Pretty even in terms of chances. Wxm should have had a pen and had one cleared off the line. If McFadz hadn’t been silly and we kept 11 players on the pitch Wrexham would have taken all 3 pts.
This game was a bloodbath. Well, not a bloodbath but very chippy.
the announcers seem to see the red card as intentional, but it clearly looks like an accidental mistake to me. at 4:49 -4:50, you can see the speed he was running into, and as the goalie made contact with the ball, the Wexham player's weight shifts to the left as to try and avoid the keeper. Watching the Wexham player trip and loose his balance, after contact shows he was trying to avoid, as oppose to purposely kicking the keeper.

Disagree, he had time to lift his leg yet chose to dive. Which in a normal dual, vs a guys leg is fine. But you done use a keepers face as a substitute for your shoe to get stuck on.
He had time to lift his leg and he didnt. You could even argue there was a 2nd attempt to hit the keeper at 4:49 (i dont say it is intentional, the point could be made is what the reff is seeing. Thats what im saying).
Also no var. And again, as var i would disagree with your statement. Clear red, attacker had no intend to raise his leg above the keeper and every intent to seek contact and fall. Was just a very stupid choice by the attacker to seek a penalty, not an assassination.

How on earth was that a red card? Even if he did it on purpose it should only be a yellow. Absolutely pathetic refereeing. Also the Barnet players embarrassed themselves during the red card, made absolute asses of themselves.
If it was intentional then 100% it’s a red, kicking a keeper in the face is the definition of dangerous play. However I don’t think it was intentional,it was reckless and barely touched the keeper. It’s just a yellow.
Ridiculous red card, nothing malicious in it at all, it was just a flick of the foot because he was unsure if the keeper was about to drop it. Give a foul if you want, sure, maybe even a yellow but a red card is ridiculous for that.
Are you mental? He dragged his foot in the keeper's face and then gave him a little toe poke in the head. Like the commentators said, "The ref had no choice to give a red."
