What is amazing to me, is how Steve made every band he ever play in, better! There are not many musicians, if any on this earth, that had such an impact on work they did!

Stevie Vai is such a masterful guitarist. Not taking away from any great guitarist out there but Vai creates alot of instumental work. Not alot of air play but it's what he does. My guitar hero, Jeff Beck, paved the way for instrumental rock guitar. Beck could have joined a rock band and made a fortune but didn't want that. The Rolling Stones wanted Beck years ago.

Hes a role Model so is Vai I mean I think Vai is a little I should say Eccentric but you know what he deserves and has the right!! Most people dont realize but Steve when he is not touring he is writing full compositions for the greatest Orchastra/Symphony in The World Hes a composer of all instruments and damned good!! When it comes to theory hes a master!!! Probably the best!!

I had put the guitar down for a while and one day was like what am I doing. I had to buy a new Amp and that was it and 9 or 10 guitars later and many preamp and several Head Amps I just love to play. Ok Carle Place is this Long Island ? Because i know the whole story of Vai showing up at Joes with a busted guitar and strings when in school and Joe began to teach him. They play similar you can see Joes been the biggest influence on Steve yet they are unique. I noticed that Satriani never does Finger tapping and Vais an absolute master. Steves amazing my favorite of the 2 comes down to one song and Flying In A Blue Dream By JS I have to this day never heard something so emotional ever.
