I am concerned about anyone who speaks at Bethel Church. Too much decepetion. I will hold my donation funds for Mario till I learn more about him. He is doing great things in California with the tent meetings, but then again just look at Benny Hinn, Copeland, Give me another dollar Creflo and many other false teachers/prophets what they have done to the body of Christ. Not judging, just following the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ 2 Peter 2:1-3 "Beware of false teachers". Not saying Mario is a false teacher, but he is speaking at Bethel Church: which is suspect.
Renee, for what it's worth, as a young minister in Savannah, GA (preaching to the homeless and inner city), I watched and studied Mario Murillo intently. I always connected with him because, much like you, I was not one to just believe any and all goings on with "church," or ministers and movements. One thing I have always recalled about Mario, and it seems to have proven true against the nearly thirty (30) years I reference here, is that he never wanted to be, was determined not to be, a "Celebrity Christian/Evangelist." This spoken, while his show, Armed and Dangerous, aired weekly on TBN. While I respect, admire and applaud your approach, I will state on behalf of Mario Murillo Ministries and one that has known and followed him for years, he is worth the sowing - and no, I am not affiliated with his ministry in any capacity other than personal growth.
