First of all thank you so much for your reaction, glad you could finally upload! I don't mind the filter as I know the video very well and was here to see how the song would affect you... First of all "Tenichtitlán" was the name of the Aztec empire capital city situated pretty much where now the giant city of Mexico City is spreading, Mon lives nearby... The message of the song is not easy to understand if you don't have a context. Mon arrived in Mexico as an immigrant from Chile in her early 20ies. She had been singing back in Chile already, but started he life and career from zero in Mexico as an unknown artist, a stranger playing on the streets or in bars... It took her some years of hard work to get to the point where she is now, having won several Latin Grammys and a Grammy, and recently becoming a mother for the first time at 40 years, one of the songs on her new album is about that "40 y MM" (40 and Mami). - So Google could not give you a translation (but it shoud've explained what T. means...) ... The song is very personal to Mon and reflects prejudice and aggression she had to face on her way "She's a third world bitch, she dances for a bear..." - or more generally, how society treats individuals who are not living according to the normative, people judging on others, not seeing their own mistakes...of course the imagery is "poetic", symbolistic... and yes, she uses a lot of religious symbolism, in an interview she spoke about how religions, and religious traditions (especially in Latin America) would treat women to their disadvantage yet "washing their hands in innocence" as they claim it is god's will...
I'll add a lyric translation, I think with the context I gave you you will be able to better understand the meaning of the song and why the famous Chilean cinematography lady did the visuals the way she did...
How much did it cost you?
Who fucked her?
If she is a third world South American whore
Nobody gave birth to her
Where did she appear from?
The girl thinks she's an artist
Eh-eh
How much do you she put in
Eh-eh
How much money
Eh
She dances for a beer
Chorus
Bella, don't cry anymore
Under the sky of Tenochtitlán
Bella don't cry anymore
They, eh, will regret it
And the Virgin Mother
The brunette is going to bless her
Eh-eh
How much does he put into it
Eh-eh
How much money
Bella, don't cry anymore
Under the sky of Tenochtitlán
Bella, don't cry anymore
They, eh, will regret it
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you
Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death
Our death
Our death
Our death

Tenochtitlán a city capital of aztec empire in mexico.
Tenochtitlán is the ancient Mexico City, built in stone by the aztecas. Symbolism here is Mon Laferte built herself like rock over the prejudices of people condemning her like a sinner
Mas que nada es por el maltrato de la sociedad a personas y sufren bastante se van a otro país y triunfan y despues la adoran, mas que nada su vida propia
