Great video, thanks. I’m starting to get the idea that I have some 10 millimeter bolts to remove.

WOW that's different. I saw a 2004 3.5 kia sorento. It was north south (longitudinal?). the air cleaner was on the other side BUT the battery was in the same place. Same engine though. The classic 3.5 sigma with the huge timing belt. Fun to get new plugs in. Throttle body needs to come off. Here in Australia they gave us this 2.5 litre rover copy. Even rover England had trouble with it. And of course the korean kia copy was ATROCIOUS. The sedonas (we call carnival/grand carnival for the longer one) were on their third engine at 18 months old. Cost them millions in recalls and they REALLY should have given us the 3.5 ASAP. Because it DESTROYED their reputation. And the 3.5 was in our sorento so it obviously passed emissions for Australia.

Quick question, will the van still turn on if the water pump is bad, cause the timing belt being next to it?

cranks shaft tool, but make sure you apply anti seize on the bolt, put on with hand tight and use impact should be good at the lowest setting if you don't have a crank bolt special tool.

Where the fans running? The car I'm working on the fans are not on, is that a good sign the water pump is junk? I replaced the thermostat

check you electrical connections or fuses, start with the simple stuff first before you decide to take things apart

If UA-cam counts multiple views from 1 person, I probably would count for 100 views. I'm just slightly dumb, but great video
