I was checking out this new modded jungle map called Lux and I bumped into an awesome character named Rem.
I’m 65 father of 2 boys 12/10 got cancer twice., still fighting it. And i got back into it after 7 yrs away. Now setting up a gaming pc and spend the rest of my life [31 yrs] playing DayZ. See you on the road
I have 2 senior citizen friends because of this game. Met the first one (late 60s) on a PVE server where the only pvp was at military bases. I built a huge community base and he was our food guy, every morning like clockwork he'd show up with loads of fish, chickens and other assorted raw meats for everyone that day. He never joined us for pvp, just liked hunting and fishing lol he's always getting stoned and coughing in the mic, still love him though 😂
I'm almost 53 and i fucking LOVE this game! I ran into a 78 year old real life combat veteran who was AWESOME at this game as well.
You always seem to bring out the best that this game has to offer. The way you encourage immersive gameplay makes all of these videos a pleasure to watch
Best part about this video is when pink on roof dies and you two are laying flat to not get sniped, smoke goes, "you gotta be careful around these parts it gets dangerous." Camera pans to Rem, upright in a bright red jacket, wrench out, so funny

I once met a british actor who was almost 50 and he knew Chernarus like the back of his hand. He was leading a group of 8 when I joined him, everyone died but him and I and we became good friends. I will never forget how I could spawn in and tell him, "Uhh, downhill from me is a tree line and the rest is grass." and he'd be like, "Ah you must be at x, go towards x direction and you'll meet up with me in x." and he was right everytime, phenomenal.
I love it when you get a cast together, it's fun to see who lives or how they die, like a movie.
Im 69.....and i have a personal PVE server and i love this game......been gaming forever.....as long as i can hold a mouse i plan to keep gettin it on....😊

Back during the Call Of Duty 1 Base Assault days we ran into a guy named "SeniorCitizen69" After playing on our Base Assualt server for many weeks he got onto our teamspeak and we got to know him. Very cool guy. He was 69 years old.
Lots of respect to the 68 year old, I have met a 75 year old guy when I was trying to give WoW another try when Legion came out after having stopped playing WoW at the Cataclysm expansion and this 75 year old had been an active WoW player the entire time although he couldn't play at the same level as a hardcore players but did everything at a causal level which is still very impressive in my opinion.
Rem gave me Forest Gump vibes.... Right down to the accent and speaking cadence. I'm 57 myself and appreciate it when running into older folks who have recently got into gaming or like me, have been gaming since forever.
That woman in the beginning reminded me of the one who was shouting "help! help!" constantly on your old video, instant burst into laughter.. :D Love your chill videos, they're my nr.1 pick for eating sessions.

Got to love dayZ for this reason. Was playing Namalsk a while back, bumped into a guy named Jax, he was 50+ years of age. Had a cool adventure together. Cheers for sharing
