I agree and when they're adults they literally turn their heads backwards and put it on their back it's pretty cute but it looks a little weird at first glance
I'm a poultry farmer as well and that genius notion of using chick feeders as waterers is amazing! Just a note on Indian Runner ducks, I adopted one lonely 1 day old duckling (named Dhoop) and raised her inside as a house pet (pet house ducks are actually more common than one might think!) and because I spent so much time with her she's honestly the best, most loyal and caring friend I've ever had. I've had dogs in the past and she's honestly way more cuddly, loving and defensive of me then they ever were! Keep up the good work and keep on uploading such great content, thank you for all that you do!
You’ve saved us bird newbies again! I’m on my first small flock, you helped me so much in the beginning and now reiterating things for more people helps them in the long run!! Some people don’t think of the long term and your videos and advice are spot on!! 👍🏻
My wife and I have an empty nest so we are beginning a *real* flock. We have several acres to play on so we're trying out several breeds of chickens and we grabbed a few ducks while we were at it. And, now all I want to do is go out and play with my birds~ I would highly recommend keeping a flock for those suffering from real depression. Sure, bad things happen and you'll have to dispatch a bird now and then. But, as long as you're ready for that eventuality, the delight and happiness far outweigh the sad and nasty! I enjoy your videos! Fun, and informative. Release the Quacken!! XOXO.

maybe start with why your parents not allowing you to own ducks. it could be from spacing area, it could be from how responsible you are, or it could be from money/fund wise. just by Morgan explanation in this video, owning a duck is a lot of work and money to provide their daily necessity. after talking about the reason why with your parents, and either get rejected/accepted then talk to your parents with research data from owning ducks like: money spend for the ducks, how much it needs spacing and housing and maybe you could entice them with profit that came from them like eggs or maybe their feces as compost. you can calculate them all and maybe could sell those in a couple of weeks after they became full fledge adult. it would be amazing if you could start business and have some experience in raising live stock. so yeah cheers! hope you can own them either as pets or live stock!

Great tips! 👍 I'm currently incubating my first ever duck eggs (khaki Campbell pekin mixes) that are due in about 15 days. Looking forward to it! Ours are basically for pets and eggs 😅
Great video! Those tiny little cuties can sure make a mess in a hurry 😂 they put off a good stink in short order too! But the plop plop plop of duck feet following you around the yard is AWESOME!❤️❤️❤️🦆 haven't worked up the courage to venture into geese though!
So when I was really little my family got some ducklings to raise. The first night we had them, I watched them all day, wanted to make sure they were safe and happy. But, when it started getting later in the night, I noticed some of the ducklings' heads were drooping to the side. I got super freaked out, I thought they were dying or they were sick and I kept trying to tip their heads back up. Poor little ducklings, they were just trying to fall asleep!

8 days and counting… can’t wait till my goslings get here 🐣
Step 1) Try not to die from the cuteness overload
Great tips! 👍 I'm currently incubating my first ever duck eggs (khaki Campbell pekin mixes) that are due in about 15 days. Looking forward to it! Ours are basically for pets and eggs 😅
I’m just here for the cute fuzzies! 😆🥰
If I were a gosling 🐣🐤🐥🐦I'd be happy as a pig in slop to be born at Gold Shaw farm. Toby the protector at hand and knowledge is key. That's it. 😁 ✌
Super cool drone shot!
VERMONT! I was born there!I live in rural South Australia now🇺🇸🇦🇺🇺🇸🇦🇺🇺🇸🇦🇺
Great video! Those tiny little cuties can sure make a mess in a hurry 😂 they put off a good stink in short order too! But the plop plop plop of duck feet following you around the yard is AWESOME!❤️❤️❤️🦆 haven't worked up the courage to venture into geese though!
Thx so much from sunny south africa! Great video 🥰
Your an amazing human being!
Excellent information Morgan. Great job👍
My dad said we’re going to get a duckling soon and I’m like save my money
The cats in the cradle plug was hilarious
So when I was really little my family got some ducklings to raise. The first night we had them, I watched them all day, wanted to make sure they were safe and happy. But, when it started getting later in the night, I noticed some of the ducklings' heads were drooping to the side. I got super freaked out, I thought they were dying or they were sick and I kept trying to tip their heads back up. Poor little ducklings, they were just trying to fall asleep!
