Am waiting to hear a voice that will ever match Tuku's. Every single day of our 4 years at our University in Kenya we danced to your music. Rest in peace.
I left South Africa at the age of 6 and now 27... At times i have forgotten my true identity but this song for some reason always reminds me that I will always be "African".
Mr. Torren you're right man. I was born in North Africa and I grew up there. I know I'm a white African because I can't sit still when I hear this kind of music.
I agree ❤ Ladysmith Black Mambazo is the best acappella group of all time and Oliver is amazing ❤ I saw Ladysmith Black Mambazo in concert in Boston one year ago. Love, from the USA.

i am editing this post today in tears... cant belive he is gone. RIP My music inspiration..i learnt guitar because of him... here wondering how this was posted in 2016 and i didnt even come across it till today!!! wow!!❤
Hearing this collaboration in 2024 November. Wow what a HIT!!!!! Recently I was listening to Black Mambazo on Qatar Airways inflght system. Enjoyed it so much.
This is so melodious you could listen to it a million times without getting bored. Tuku is a music giant. The way he blends in with Mambazo makes me a very proud Zimbabwean first and African second. It's sad there is noone to take after Tuku the same way Joseph's son has taken over from his father.
2019 and still you feel like you are in 80s, rest with angels the music master. OLIVER, you have written your musical will in our hearts, that was the best gift you left the sons and daughters of not Africa but any living creature with passion for music and humanity. It is well with our souls😔😢😢. Always good Music..
This song reminds me of the early 1980s when I was a student at UCE in Bulawayo Zimbabwe. It reminds a great song long after time. I do listen to it and sing it to my wife.

People must go and visit while you runaway from it? What a contradiction!
Been to Victoria falls, Harare and Bulawayo!!! and yes!!! I agree Zimbabwe is a beautiful country!!!
I'm for unity but Indians, Chinese, Whites and Arabs are not our people. They are all Eurasians. Africa for the African abroad and at home.
Zimbabwe and South Africa must just merge be one Country.
Tough territory!
How I wish the entire continent had no artificial boundaries
