I know that she isnt running a marathon but one rule I've learned is that in marathons, when you feel tired, you don't stop running or moving your legs.
I'd say it's to prevent building up lactic acid, even when youre exhausted if you dont properly wind down by still moving it can make your performance worse due to build up in your muscles, so moving and staying mobile is like the best thing she can do here. I learned this from wrestling
It's fascinating to see such athletic characters like street fighter get tired. It's something I never thought I wanted to see before burnout was a thing
I like how Chun and Dhalsim try to maintain their idle stances despite being exhausted, Ryu and Ken share the same defensive stance (kinda like old Street Fighter where their idle stances were pretty much identical), while Kimberly is running out of energy to keep grooving.

You are something else, huh. *light breath* I guess the turbulent wind has its slow moments" A.K.I: I am...not breaking...master
When I was training in taekwondo, I always kept my focus on my opponent’s stance to look for signs of fatigue; the burnout stances take a more defensive pose and this is because when you’re pushed to this point of exertion, it’s not only hard to catch your breath but your body is also trying to mend some of the wear and tear. Even parries and blocking when you’re burnt out to this degree hurts! 😫 but it’s better to stay on guard than fully exposed to protect your more vulnerable body parts. Since the last thing you want is the breath kicked out of you when you’re already having a hard time catching it. It’s also why they looked so pained just trying to breathe.
I love the detail of the blinking lights around the heads. As a amateur fighter I remember the first match I got in and my cardio was complete ass, I started seeing the same little flashes (then I threw up in the middle of the cage)
i just love how street still grabbed that realistic cartoon artstyle who made their games really unique and extremely more charismatic than MK, Tekken, Soul Calibur, etc...

Deejay looks the most tired dawg isn’t even tryin to put on a strong facade
His moves are defienetly the most exhausting to pull off
Deejay looks like he is actively trying to not throw up
I love how they all look like they just killed every muscle in their body and Rashid just looks bored
“Man this being tired shit is really boring. When can I not be tired again?”
the man is such a vibe.
After intense workouts/fights your body would be crying.
That's not actually his burnout animation, they recorded the wrong thing, that's his idle animation

It's logical, physicall efort is brutal in martial arts, Even trained people have limits
It's kinda sureal to see, but a cool detail. A lot of other game characters either don't tire at all or recover so fast you barely feel it.
Burnout Chun-Li uses her SF2 fighting stance. Burnout Manon uses Abel's fighting stance
Dhalsims animation is his original stance from street fighter 2
Guess it shows he got so tired he reverted back to a weaker stance.
