More than the bathtub itself I really enjoy that moment between Percy and Vax and how they both made peace for everything that happened between them 2. This season is literally perfect imo
You can see the little gasp she does when Vax says she's going to Percy's bath tub. She was clearly planning something before he did that... as for what she ended up doing -- I reckon you may be right haha.
Just makes it all the better knowing she had the idea and waited for the right moment to spring it and managed to not wreck it by laughing too much while she was waiting.
I like more that travis also knows where shes going to go with it as much as hes looking at liam talking hes picking up on laura's energy and know somethings about to happen

It really was no surprise that the (in)famous Hot Tub moment would be included; but *NOT* just for the raucous and raunchy humor of Laura Bailey (Vex'ahila) [3:02]... It was important to have this scene because of the talk between Percival 'Percy' de Rolo (Taliesin Jaffe) and Vax'ildan (Liam O'Brien). Vax was being emotionally open/vulnerable with Percy, in *_trusting_* Percy to not break Vex's heart, something very difficult for an Overprotective Brother like Vax to do. If you watch the play-session part of the *[CR 1x81 - "What Lies Beneath the Surface"]* episode, you can also see on Laura's face that she does have her raunchy humor idea early on [1:16], but also *_consciously_* holds back to let Liam have his say, and not ruin Vax's serious 'being vulnerable' moment. I freaked out as soon as I saw Percy in the hot spring and Vax walking to him. I paused before it went further, got up, geeked out so hard, my friend was so confused, I sat back down and explained nothing and let it play out. Me and her both freaked out as soon as Vex broke the surface

This is still easily one of my top moments in Critical Role in general because the original scene is a stroke of genius on both Laura and Taliesin. Taliesin served and Laura returned it.

Was in a call with friends who were watching Season 3 for the first time, I was gleefully watching because I was excited that the Mansion finally got introduced but the MOMENT, I saw Percy in the bath with Vax approaching all prior conversation halted and all I said was "oh my god" (we're actually doing this). It was fucking amazing, one of my friends even said "oh no Vex is under the water!" before the reveal. It was magical 😂. So excited for more of the table moments to get adapted!
Yes it is. He's a long-time D&D player with the "Acquisitions Inc." group, but he also guested on Critical Role for a few episodes. Unfortunately, his character was written out of the animated series; he was a retired Paladin living in Westruun, and he helped to slay Umbrasyl.

Wait, I thought the Deathwalker’s Ward was stuck on Vax and he couldn’t take it off. How is he naked here and in a robe without the Ward on later while talking to Keyleth. They even confirmed in an earlier episode of season 2 that he can’t physically take off the Deathwalker’s Ward. Like he physically tried to remove it but couldn’t, it’s not just bound to his soul it’s physically bound to him. And it’s not an effect of the Chateau Shorthalt because he was still wearing the Ward after entering the Chateau. Is that just a small oversight?
Yeah I got confused about that too, but I assumed that when he tried to take it off before and couldn't it was because he hadn't accepted his fate yet. Yet after his talk with the Matron of Ravens and ultimate acceptance of his fate, he is able to take the armour off.

He specifically said he couldn’t remove it. That would kind of defeat the point of not being able to take it off if it was just attached to his soul but not his physical body.

The only time they showed him unable to remove it was immediately after he got it, when he was actively fighting against his 'bargain.' Now that he's officially given himself into her service, I suppose there would be no reason for that to persist. Given that was one of the few changes they've made to the series I have had issues with, I'm just glad they've dropped it, whatever the reason may be.

What I love is how its questioned how big the tubs are at the table, and when we finally see it, the thing is barely big enough to fit one of them.
