I agree, East London is pretty hip and trendy these days, though it never use to be like that... It's defo a place for younger people to live and visit.
@@loveandlondon Billions has gone into the East End as you know. I've noticed more and more visiters to London, chosing the likes of Shorditch eg to stay.
This is awesome Jess I did live in East London for a bit (Walthamstow, Ilford, East Ham) while working around London for over 10 years before I got another job elsewhere. Not many tourists know about East London but I think it is the most fascinating part of London with culture and diversity. I wonder if you would cover a video regarding Indian street food and culture in parts of London
@@loveandlondon East London has a lot to offer but it doesn't get the recognition it deserves so you doing this is wonderful to see. Indian food is huge in the UK so a video on that would be great. Being British-born and bred Asian myself, I know some parts of London with good Indian street food like Southall, Ealing Road in Wembley and Ilford too
Hi Jess! As a proud born and bred cockney i love that the east end gets a look in! I belong to a London walking group and have led/introduced groups to the east end (not just Jack the Ripper!.) Its so full of history and culture its criminal that its not better known. Love watching your growth and development- and your love of London
Thanks for this video! Years ago I took a great walking tour in East London with the London Walks group - he included so much history of the area including the early Jewish neighborhoods and the French Huguenot weavers in the area around Spitalfields Market. OMG your lunch looked amazing! I think food and lodging reviews are super helpful for tourists so thanks so much for including those!
I just have to say, your videos and entire channel are sooo well done. To the very last detail. Im seriously so impressed. Im moving to London in June and your videos have been such an amazing help. THANK YOU!

Just came across this interesting vid and agree that the East End (Tower Hamlets - the real East End) has changed a lot in the last 35 years. I am not sure if the Sunday market at Aldgate is still there. It was a huge tourist attraction in the 1990s. Also not sure whether tourists/Londoners realise that the Aldgate East area is the embryo/original part of Whitechapel.

@@loveandlondon Thanks I only moved here in may 2022 I saw your clip about The Culpepper pub as I live really close but never knew of it!. Completely depends on your budget etc, best bet is to go explore it yourself and see what you like.
