Great video. I love how you DON'T edit the S.N.A.F.U.s out. If I made the video, I'd do the same, except there would be a butt-load of cursing!!!!! ha ha.
Thanks a Million just bought this exact set-up Snorkel, bumper, and a 12k winch first my 2015. Have a fully built ‘88 as well and decided to rebuild my Taco again after selling all of my Pelfrey built parts. Lol. Totally not looking forward to this again. Thanks for sharing.
I put this bumper on, along with a 3” front and 2” rear lift kit, installed new upper control arms for a 2-4” lift, and new lower control arms, put 265/70r17s (biggest the shop said they could install without rubbing) on it, and they will not align. They have a positive camber and the bolts have them angled as far as they’ll go outwards.
Looks awesome bro. I almost bought a used ARB bumper just like yours for $500. But decided on aluminum Demello front bumper. Wanted to keep the weight down. Regardless you Tacoma looks bad ass with the new ARB bumper and snorkel👍😎
How far up did you end up clocking the gear box? I have a 2012 and I’m installing my winch now and seem to be stuck between to spots. One is being that it might interfere with the bracket and the other is I don’t think I would be able to engage the free spool because of interference with a support member on the bumper.
I'm currently trying to install my ARB bumper and smittybilt winch onto my 4th gen 4Runner....and after reading forums and watching video.....I'm returning the smittybilt winch...too much of a pain in the ass. Apparently the Warn winches are a direct fit. FML
Yea I hear you. Well at least you found out from people at the forums as well as watching the pain in the ass I had to go through fitting that sh!t LOL
@@KFloTacoma I sent a message to smittybilt and all they said was "it should fit ". Like thanks for the help guys , everywhere I've looked it seems like people have issues installing their winch on an ARB bumper. Engineers really need to do better.
@@KFloTacoma I really don't feel like dissembling it and messing with the winch. Even 4wheel parts told me when I called that it won't fit. Just easier to return it and buy a winch that fits ,like Warn.
The short answer is no. The stock suspension can handle another 200 lbs. The long answer is, it would be better to plan the suspension system first as ride quality may be a bit stiffer with the extra 200 lbs at the front. At the end of the day, it's your truck and your call.
2 Years after my last comment I finally was able to purchase my ARB Bumper! Thanks for the walkthrough!! It helped so much.
Great! I'm glad it helped!
Great job with the 3 videos. I am about to install this same ARB bumper.
Awesome good luck! Check out my ARB fog light video as well if you're planning on installing your own fog lamps
I want to thank you for this video series. Just installed the same set up and these videos really helped me out! Keep doing what you do!
Glad I could help! thanks for watching and supporting the channel!
This install is definitely above my skill set
It's really not too bad, you'll be good if you take your time
I'm glad I got this bumper but man did they really shit the bed packaging all the nuts and bolts.
Yea, it's friggin terrible having to shuffle through that bag of everything
It does look good !! I have the same set up on my 2016 Nissan Frontier. 👍

Sweet! I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for supporting the channel
Looks good, you should do a rig walk around so we can see the whole build.
Great idea! I'll definitely do that soon!
You can find this bumper on my Amazon affiliates page. Check it out amazon.kflo-krib.com

What's your LCA?
Where did the winch control handle end up after you rotated it? Do you have a picture of where it is now?

Thanks brother! yea, I'm happy with how awesome everything came out!

It should have been "should fit but some disassembly and adjustments required". best of luck dude!

Is this the Deluxe ARB bumper? Ive seen a few of them on Tacomas, and they seem to stick really far but yours doesn't.
Yessirree. it is the deluxe ARB
Hey, if I get this bumper for my 15 taco, should I upgrade my front suspension n rear to compensate for the weight. I’m not gonna run a winch

What lift do you have on the tacoma?
Check out my Walkthrough video in this channel. It details the suspension setup
