For those worried about the safety of the ducks, don't. There has never been a accident on the Original Ducks. Unlike Branson they don't go out in a lake. Within seconds they could have that duck on the beach and safe. Also, if you look at the roof of the duck in the video you'll see a red area. That is an emergency exit. It's Velcro and just tears away. The Branson ducks had a solid roof and side curtains blocking exits. Besides the duck never being more than a few seconds from shore on the river once it gets out on Lake Delton the lake is only 8' deep and a duck is over 8' high. If it sank you could just sit in it until a rescue duck showed up.
As the driver of this tour, I want to personally thank you for taking the effort to produce such an awesome video about the best Duck Tour in the world!
These are fun! They are in Branson and a few other places. They will let you drive it in the water and give you a captain's certificate for doing it. They usually give duck horns to everyone on the tour.
Those Duck tours are a blast, I went in the ‘90s and got to ride in the jump seat next to the driver as all the other seats were taken, the folks in the back got soaked when we went into the water. Good memories!
thank you. i'm an aussie but lived in wisconsin about 20 years ago. went to the dells a few times and loved it but never did take a duck tour. so i really appreciate this video. cheers!

Just took my son on his first Duck ride in July. He loved it, especially driving into the water. I didnt realize they had different stories with each driver. Lol I had the same reaction to all the water coming in. We sat in the seat that was in front of you.

I guess I must have good luck because I have been on the duck boat tour at least a hundred times in my 50ish years of life & I never had one sink while on it. The two things I do remember that are different from when I was a kid is, the water level, when riding in the river the water was at least 5 or 6 feet higher, maybe more. It was great & us kids couldn’t wait to ride the duck boats every time we went up north to our cabin & that was several times a year. The duck tours haven't changed much since I took one in like 1979ish. I seem to remember passing by a rock that looked like a profile of an Indian chief though that wasn't in this tour
Some people who are always warning others not to do certain relatively safe activities like ride ducks are the same people who are drunk drivers and smoke cigarettes and drive recklessly.
