Ok so having watched the battle it's clear to see soul won. These rappers are in the same league generally so it was always going to come down to who delivered the best - soul was better than usual whereas raptor was under his usual standard which is a bit of a shame. It goes to show that nothing is a given and no matter how good your bars are - if you can't get them out you're fucked!! Normally I'd say Raptor has slightly better delivery and performance than soul but soul has a more intricate pen game. Soul stepped up to match raptors delivery and performance whilst bringing absolute fire bars and raptor had fire bars but his up to now consistent performance standard dropped - unfortunately when it matter most. Conclusion - raptor wasn't ready for this battle in terms of experience. He's always had somethings to prove and mentally being given the title shot has told him he's proven himself and subconsciously become complacent.
