  • Famous castles are the stage for Sengoku battles. Inuyama Castle, a national treasure, was built in 1537 during the Muromachi period by Oda Nobunaga's uncle, Nobuyasu. Its castle tower is the oldest in Japan that still stands. It is located at the center of the fan-shaped Nobi Plain, and the view from the top floor of the castle tower is truly spectacular. There are many tourist facilities in the surrounding area, such as the Kiso River, the old streets of Inuyama Castle Town, and Meiji Village. Nobunaga, Hideyoshi, and Ieyasu each acquired Inuyama Castle in their own eras, paving the way for them to become rulers of Japan. Please enjoy this national treasure, Inuyama Castle, which has survived the rough seas of history. We would appreciate your comments on scenic spots.
