I Dnt have a small dog right now play but I do know a breed that you forgot the pug I have a boxer mix Rightnow who’s very playful Wth other dogs and play But not Tht big on toys and my friend had a pug who’s very playful
When I was a kid my mother had a Jack Russel that was so smart it knew how to catch the local bus to my nana's house! It would get upset if you changed the tv station and was seen as the ringleader when the neighborhood dogs were up to no good. I miss that little guy.
I have 2 dogs right now, a male and female, and the male is the most energetic, playful dog I've had. He's a mix of American Staffordshire terrier, some sort of English terrier, and rat terrier. At almost 5 years old, he's still very puppylike. His momma, the rat terrier, is very energetic and enthusiastic when she's outside, but nothing like her son. Alejandro (the male--hey, a Mexican friend of mine named him, not me! I call him Al, now) is virtually nonstop.
Ive been around dogs my whole life but if I had to pick one dog as my companion for the rest of my days it has to be the one and only jack Russell terrier. Stupidly brave, clever, loyal, energetic, great little hunters, brilliant company, cheeky, walk for miles. I could go on but those little rascals are the best
I have a Jack Russell mix pictures at left. Never seen so much energy. Never had a terrier in over 50 years of dog onewship. Best dog we have ever had, hands down wasn't little, Elvira our Rotti and a very close second was Taffye our cockee -Spitz mix.
I loved my Cairn Terrier. She was very playful and nothing bothered her. She loved everybody including other dogs. My Bichon plays after most walks. They're a wonderful breed too.
I can’t wait to have my smooth fox terrier puppy in September I’ve already gone ahead and bought a bunch of gear ranging from small but durable chew toys to cleaning products just in case so far so good with so much stuff I won’t have to worry about being underprepared for my new dog :).
We've had Westies for years (one is currently 17) and we now have a 10 year old patterdale, and she is waaaaaaaay more playful than the Westies, she has a lot of the best qualities of a puppy, but in an intelligent head that behaves well.
My Parson Jack Russell terrier was by far the most playful, comical, amusing, loyal, intelligent dog Ive ever owned. Sadly he only lived to be 16 years old. My heart aches for him everyday 🐶💔
@@AnimalFacts I LOVE your channel! I am subscribed and I've seen almost all of your videos! I adopted a stray dog 3 years ago and she is a not purebred "Kokoni" dog. That's an ancient Greek breed that bred for rat hunting. Please make a video about this breed 🥺. I also want to get a Papillon, Jack Russel Terrier, Toy Poodle or a Maltese. I want a high energy dog, that is healthy and that don't shed a lot, intelligent and loyal. What do you suggest? Kisses from Greece to your daughter and dogs!!! 😘😻
@@ashnohomo As far as what dog I'd recommend to fill those requirements, I'd go for a Border Terrier. I have one and I love her to pieces. Such a neat little girl.
I had a miniature Foxy/Jack Russell he was very very friendly in the morning I would be greeted with a dog jumping on me.he loved playing .I am saying had and would bc I lost he in November to cancer.
Riochuc Plays roblox, I'm so sorry for your loss May your happiest memories bring a smile to your face on the days when you need one the most. Our furry friends touch us in so many ways during their short lives.
If u want a small dog with lots of energy try a mini aussiedoodle they have tons and tons of energy and are extremely intelligent. Sometimes its embarrassing when your dog out thinks you. They are really good at obedience also. DO BE AWARE OF THE GROOMER REQUIREMENTS THOUGH.
I just got a Japanese chin puppy and sometimes he has playful times, but not all the time he sometimes just wants to cuddle on your lap!My dad is getting a Jack Russell in 2 years because we used to have one when I was 1-2 he died when we were moving into are new house and he got ran over. But he will still be are number 1 dog ! But maybe when I’m in high school I’ll get a papllion I’ve always wanted one but it’s hard to find
Yes - I had one that lived 14.5 years and loved every minute owning her. They are such sweet dogs, but one has to regard their backs and teeth properly. Mine never had back problems, but actually died from a tumor that grew on top of her paw that the vet could not do anything for. It was a rare situation as far as owning a dachshund. I still miss her.
We was given a bull ~ mastive , he showed up one night in need of us ; we said yes , he was sweet as honey , & beautiful, loved to play tug of war with things , he would growl so cute , melted our hearts , awe , we lost him 5 + yr,s back , we miss him , 💖🐾💖
No, because all the clips used are Creative Commons, which means the creators give permission for reuse or the clips are from stock footage services I pay for.
First of all, I disagree with the Bichon. We have had two. They are cute, lovable, and loyal. But neither one was playful. The only thing that the one we have now will play with is a milk bone. She won’t just take it, you have to throw it several times before she eats it. Secondly, I have an opinion question. Would you get a Cockapoo or a Havanese? I will be in my 60’s as the dog grows up, no children but a few grandkids. I am looking for a spunky dog that will get into a little mischief.
"Top 10 Most Playful Small Dog Breeds & Mutts" I wish people would stop calling the cockerpoo a breed. It's a hybrid of two other actual breeds. The most annoying thing about it is people spend more money on those mutts and have no idea about the parent breeds. My Mini Poodle always gets called a cockerpoo. No he's not a cockerpoo. Your mutt of a dog just turned out more like a poodle than a cocker, but of course you have no idea of that cause you have no idea what a damn mini poodle looks like or does in the first place. I have nothing against mutts. Hybrid vigour is just as real in dogs as it is in plants. But when you randomly cross two dogs, it doesn't make a breed and paying silly money for them is just that...silly. Honestly, do these "animal" channels actually do any of their own research? Or do they just grab the latest list they find on a google search? From saying that Shih tzu's don't malt (HA!) to calling crosses an actual breed. People come to these channels for information and you're just putting across any old shit you find without validating any of it.
Who was the most playful dog you ever had? Let us know all about her or him.
German spitz of course:)
JRT's they are crazy ❗️❤️❤️❤️mine is 16 and still active makes me laugh every day❗️
Small dog? Easily my last Havanese ❤️

We love our two Boston Terriers.

My Jack Russell is so funny and smart. Everyone loves him....
Is your dog small
I have a pug, they're great dogs, love everyone, obedient, not scared of anything and are so cute!

I like Jack Russel terrier 😉
I LOVE corgis, so mine was definitely the corgi ❤️
Hey do you by any chance know where i can get a corgi for cheap?
Any true dog lover will instantly bridle at the term..."Cockapoo" so the narrator may safely be written of as a Fullashit..."

Blackout Lol Congrats! Let us know how ya get along with your new buddy.
Patterdale Terrier is certainly as small and scrappy as any little terrier. More so than most. And oh, so cute.

I think you should do this video the same video that you just did but with large dogs instead of small
Thank you for another great video
❤️♥️❤️
Love your channel! You and your adorable daughter is very nice to listen to. Thank you.😊👍❤️☝️
Thank you so much!
I would have to add the miniature schnauzer. While watching this, mine was rolling on the floor with her lab sister.
N Foss ❤❤❤

Lost our first after 18 years. Best dog ever.
Corgi’s are adorable
My aunt has a young Jack Russell Terrier
And he is fun and spoiled!🐕
Poodles are great too. My dog loves to play.
Can't believe the Mini Schnauzer didn't make this list. Something's wrong with that .
Our most playful dogs have been our Golden Retrievers. I remember how much they loved going to the lake and retrieving what we threw in there.
Hide N seek but with her blanket on a soft bed , : ) she's a boxer / pit bull , sweet heart 🐾💖
As my daughter says about her Westie…”She owns the house, and everything in it; I go to work to pay for it all.”
4:31 it says "Pipillon" instead of "Papillon" lol. By the way amazing video! 😻😻😻
Yeah... I make boo-boos sometimes. And thank you.

@@AnimalFacts Thanks for the advice! I decided that the Papillon is the best for me, but I will research about the Border Terrier!
You totally overlooked the venerable Pomeranian.
Miniature dachshund!
I had a jack Russell named Tigen
No 7 is a papillon not pipilon
Yeah.... Typo snuck in there.
Forgot the Dachshund... Very overly playful
That is my faviort
PAPILLON. My comment regarded your misspelling, not a breed favorite. I have no experience with them.

Papillons
I like a jack russle
We're on our second cockapoo. They are very sweet dogs and have a long life span. They have that little cute face that you can't help but love.
How about chihuahua??
JRs the best

MinPin should have been on there…
The dog at the beginning is a frenchie not a Boston

Where do I get dogs?
I wish my dog would play
What about the pugs?
I agree
How are Beagles not on this list?
What happened with the dachshund?😔
Yes
Yes mine is playful.
Doxies can also be adorable clowns, but not hyper crazy yipping and yapping all the time like some of these breeds.
@@Tigerroux mine is very playful and his 10th years old his the best thing that happened to. ❤❤

Probably a jack Russell terrier😂
minipin should be on the first place

"An 'ideal' mind is the devil's workshop"? You may want to check that quote on Google, it is way off!
I got a bit tongue tied.
Why not the min pin also known as the king of toys lol
I won't stand for this Min Pin erasure.
@@erinmabry9047 huh?

Am soooooooooo disappointed because there is noo beagle in this list btw
pipillon? It's papillon.

I never heard of some of those dogs
I think you forgot the cockapoo
You forgot the pug
