I know this ten years old Mandy, but I can now play this, thanks to you ..Yayyy !
Hey that’s awesome!!!
There ain't no LOVE button on here!
Thank you! I 3 finger pick but prefer learning from you for melody and groove. I can pick it my own way now
Thanks!
One of my favorites!
Hey thanks for watching! It's a Gold Tone WL-250. Part of why it sounds better is that it costs more. A Goodtime has a maple neck and a completely different tone ring. Lots of different little things that are added as you pay more basically. Strings used here are Ernie Ball Earthwood Frailing strings.
The very best lesson I've seen online. You're patient enough to go over the parts clearly and slowly. Mucho thanks.
Thank you for the banjo lessons! You are straight forward, to the point and go slow enough for a beginner to follow. You are appreciated here in the Ozarks of Arkansas
:)
Dianna Price thanks 😀
Thank you. Slow and I can follow. You are great.
Thank you Matthew! Glad you are enjoying it. I have a bunch on here and a BUNCH more coming so stay tuned. 😃
I think you are my new favorite banjo teacher now. You made this very easy to learn. Thanks!
Thank you so much I can tell the way you teach you really care about someone that really want to learn you are a great teacher.
Glad you liked it.
BanjoLemonade hi great lesson but I can't find where to get the tab from could you help me please

Thank you for another great lesson, and I agree that everything doesn't have to be fast to sound good
Thanks for listening
Excellent, enjoying your lessons. You are a very good teacher.
Thank you for this amazing lesson!
Great lesson!
thanks so much - you exude such a beautiful sounding attitude in your banjo and voice...
Thanks for watching!
and thank you! I love the sound of this and you are a great teacher! Already knowing how to play this.
Ya great tune you helped me play right along with you , slower makes you anunciate better .
Thank you for this lesson!
Thanks Mandy, I had been using Mike Iverson's tab for this. The way I play :(... Your lesson enables me to get some speed and it just seems to flow better.
I like when pretty girls tell me what to do. Thanks Mandy!
Omg! You are really helping me! Thanks so much.

awesome , thank you!!!!
Do you have a tab sheet or know of any online that viewers can play along with? I’m dyslexic and struggle to learn if I don’t have the piece of music in front of me. Also, this is one of the best versions I’ve heard being taught. A lot of the other lessons on here don’t seem to be in the right tuning, this is perfect though
This is in sawmill (G modal) tuning. Yes I have tabs for this at my website. $5/month gets you my video lessons and tabs. www.banjolemonade.com/join
@@BanjoLemonade Thanks for getting back to me, I’ll check your website out in a little while 🙏🏻
Have you tried this in Bb flat gives it that western sound IDK on mine gives it more of a stereo sound -I guess more rezonation
Nope I haven’t. I’ll give it a try.
What kind of banjo is that it sure sounds great! What kind of strings also.
I have Goodtime and it doesn't sound that good, maybe it's just me...
Is there a reason you use the first string on the fifth fret instead of just using the fifth string? Thanks. Love the tune and this is my first time with sawmill tuning, which is great fun.
Yes actually. The 5th string is never used for the melody of a song. If you were to do that it would throw off your rhythm. Then if you were to ever attempt double thumbing or drop thumbing you would have big problems also. Glad you are enjoying it Zale.
Thanks for the quick response, and for getting my name right. That's rare.
You are very welcome! I do try to people’s name correct. :-)
What brand is your banjo?
Hey, this just now showed up in my comments. Sorry for the delay in responding. The banjo played here is a Gold Tone WL-250. I also frequently play a CC-OT by them. I am a small-time dealer in their products. Have a great day!
Love it! :D
I am 10 years old and the B part is difficult!
Jonathan Mohill yes it takes lots of practice
P.S this is my dad's account that's me in the picture. My life is musical.I play over 5 instruments
This song, these notes sound much better slower. This should be a more serious song. The lyrics are silly. They're fine mind you but for these notes I I hear a more serious song
