Hi friends! I hope you're having a lovely day! I've always been a huge fan of the post-apocalyptic "genre", and my favourite "piece" is The Last of Us, which I've played only recently. I can highly recommend this game, it's such a great experience! Anyways, I thought it would be really fun to try and build something that resembles a settlement in a post-apocalyptic world. The idea is that the build itself is an old factory which a groups of survivors found many years ago, and has since updated to fit their needs. I had a really fun time building this, and I really hope you like the speedbuild!

Is it weird to say the flowers on the grave made me emotional. That one touch of environmental storytelling really says a lot about the people living here.

Well I guess you can pretend people from Stranger Ville are zombies. Zombies sounds like a great idea to me! Imagine all the adrenaline haha
They could definitely include a lot of that stuff in an industrial package!

This just made me imagine how fun it would be for a zombie apocalypse gameplay mechanic. Like having to stay inside, maintain things, ect.
you can play with lot traits like "all the recipes require homemade ingredients" and "out of the grid" so you'll not have power or bills.
There was just a new mod released by the creator of the royalty mod that does exactly these things! Its called “apocalypse survival mod”
Theres this game that is exactly like that it's called project zomboid.

Great build! I remember watching the last of Us playthrough in high school, I really think it changed the way games are made and how people look at games in the way of constructing a cinematic story-driven experience. I find that all of your builds have that cinematic vibe to them, especially this one! ✨

Ive always loved post apocolyptic style things and this is honestly such an amazing build and its something ive tried (and failed) many times before but youve given me the confidence to start it up again!

I absouletly love this build! I have always been a huge fan of the post-apocalyptic "genre" too and I love seeing these builds in the Sims! I would love to see more of these types of builds, its always interesting to see the imagination and creativity when building in this "genre". For example, you could build an overgrown abandoned building that you can loot as you travel similar to the places Joel and Ellie have to travel through. You could build something like that tunnel system Joel and Tess travel through towards the beginning of the game! Regardless, Please do more post-apocalyptic/The Last of Us inspired builds!!
I seriously don't know how do you make those overgrown plants around the house looks so pretty and realistic!!

Your builds are so amazing and the music is so relaxing that I've been using your vids to fall asleep. If I'm asleep before the ending, I finish it in the morning, while having a cup of coffee. This is so awesome and incredibly detailed. I love it! The only thing I'd see as being a huge safety threat are the rocks pressed up against the fence--it would make it incredibly easy to jump right over it. The rest of it is just...wow.

When I think about a good speed build video, this is what I think of. I usually watch other simmers videos on silent because I’m already laying down, getting ready for bed, but the added ambience in these are just to die for and so relaxing. Thank you for such an awesome channel! I definitely wouldn’t mind a voiceover every once and a while if you ever plan to expand your roster of vids tho! 💕
