Dulquer literally captured the charm of Gemini Ganesan in this movie. Almost every girl who ever met him fell for him cuz his charm and wit was apparently excellent. He was my gradfathers best friend and they were classmates in college as well so this movie is beautiful and weird to watch for me since it's a biopic abt Savitri and her relationship with him lol. I am a big fan of both Gemini Ganesan and Savitri of course lol

I dithered watching this film for no particular reason and today I just decided to watch it.
Until today, I’d heard a lot about Keerthi Suresh, but never got a chance to watch any of her films.
What can I say, she’s taken the character into her stride and delivered a phenomenal tribute to a great actor of the bygone era.
I’m sure she will go on to do great films, but this film will perhaps be her magnum opus. Such grace and beauty.
Dulquer, where does one start or end with him. Second show, Theevram, Ustad Hotel and so many more stunning roles. Gemini Ganesan would be proud of Dulquer.
There’s a great deal of patriarchy in the film which comes with the era, but I wonder if the film could have been done without it?
Albeit, a pleasant film, with some lovely music.
