@kagoni..please tell Reverend as they pray on 15th...the kikuyu tribe needs to repent for going back to the mountain to pray. Our God does not live in mountains..He is the lord God of the universe. He does not belong to the kikuyu tribe alone...He is God of all creation. Prayers without repentance amount to nothing. John 4:19-24.. God is looking for true worshippers who worship Him in truth and spirit not people who go to mountains.
Mountains symbolize divine encounter . In the bible a number of people praying from the mountains eg Abraham (mt. Moriah), Moses(mt. Sinai) Elijah (mt Carmel) even Jesus prayed from several mountains.
