I don’t see the point of repeated testing if someone in the house has already tested positive. Since everyone in the house is considered a close contact and has to quarantine anyway (at least in NY state) just assume you have it. You’d have to quarantine anyway. Test when you feel better to see if it’s still negative (although you can test positive for up to 12 weeks even after symptoms have ended). Just my thoughts.
Praying for your family. My 9yr old daughter got covid in October. No one else in our family got it. We had another scare this week with my 13 yr old daughter but it was negative. She had the same exact symptoms that you had and was negative for flu and strep. Now I'm feeling under the weather myself.
We managed to make it until Wednesday of last week and my daughter suddenly couldn't walk and had a bad migraine. We went to the hospital on pediatrician recommendation. She tested positive. The next day I wake up and I am so sick. I hit 104.5°F and my test was also positive. So, we are at home. Each day it's getting a little harder for me to breathe and the fever keeps coming back... Good luck to you and yours!!
Just saw your insta update. we now have it too. Double vaxxed and boosted and thankfully mild overall just have a rough cough. Our 3, 3.5 and under kiddos all just had light fevers and our 3 month old has some congestion. Hopefully hubs has been able to stay negative.
Krista we don't care what you put out their,We are going to watch ,I enjoy listening to your voice and was happy for the update,I was looking for a new video from you.By the way I don't ever comment on anyone's video.
Did they test you guys for the flu as well? We all got sick and I felt the worst. Went to urgent care and had to ask for a flu test also and that was positive but Covid was negative. I heard it's common that they are not automatically testing for the flu and people have had to request.
I have very vivid memories when I was 4, I put a small rubber band from my hair in my nose while at preschool . My mom freaked and called the pediatrician who said cover on nostril and tell her to blow, sure enough it came flying out the other nose 🤣, funny now, but probably not funny then.
Glad you are all doing pretty well! We just had covid- weird thing, all of my home tests were positive for a week but my pcr was negative🤷♀️. The doctor couldn't explain it but assumed covid. It's all so fast moving, it's hard to know what's what.
Thank you! Glad you're doing fine now as well! I keep hearing so many stories about families being sick and one person continually testing negative, even with symptoms.
Glad you all feel better. My oldest son tested positive twice with no symptoms, myself my husband and youngest son tested negative but my youngest son had the same exact symptoms you had. He's feels better now but he says his energy feels way off.
Grateful to God you're feeling better mama! I agree with the folks on IG, you probably had Omicron. You had the classic symptoms and recent, close exposure. Sometimes the tests are wrong 🤷🏿
Pray your family is doing better. The same thing happened to me. I had pink eye and then several days later I started to feel horrible. I kept getting tested and it kept coming back negative. Still don’t know what it was…
So glad your family is doing well! I have 3 college kids who have been home for the holidays. My 2 girls have been with 2 people on different occasions who had Covid and my husband was with a co worker who had Covid. Somehow we have managed not to get it. I have no idea how!!

To each his own. I prefer to never assume anything when it comes to my health.

Could be a false positive. It’s very common. Hope you all feel better.
