@@linebrunelle1004 I think you need to chill out a bit. They regularly joke about Barry liking pretentious ingredients and gold leaf is a textbook pretentious ingredient (it's literally style over substance - it adds no flavour to the dish).

I didn't realize until about halfway through that you had added the gadget prices in both pounds and dollars. That's rather accommodating and appreciated, thank you!
I just love how Jamie is always the one in charge of colouring food even though everyone knows he’s colourblind. 😂 And kudos to Jamie for not letting that hold him back.

Thank you for giving Kush the chance to flex his chef skills with the fanciest piece of cake I've ever seen. If only I could taste it too. It sounds heavenly.

Be VERY careful with those exposed lasers. If it's powerful enough to engrave, burn or cut, its definitely powerful enough to cause permanent eye damage. Even the reflections off of say, a shiny plate, can be harmful. Often, these chinese lasers are advertised with very unsafe usage examples and the included goggles etc. are often very lacking.
This should be a pinned comment! It's a blue/violet laser, so it doesn't look like much because the eyes are not very sensitive to those wavelengths, but at this power, even just looking at the spot is enough to do damage.
Yeah this is one of those sketchy products. Amazon page doesn't declare the laser wattage, most of their more recent products come with built in shields (this was the original mass marketable one). It's almost certain that the laser is powerful enough to blind, likely well beyond the point of focus. The whole team in the room should have goggles on (actual goggles) when that is connected to power. I mean heck, it's not even held down. What happens when it falls over? Get a nice engraving on the cameraman's eye? Pray that the bottom bin safety works?
@@faithnfire4769 Exactly. Or what about the laser reflecting off of a shiny utensil. I get the appeal of these devices, but the way these things are marketed is just incredibly negligent.
