Composed, professional, informative. You all started in print editorial and it’s shows as there is some in-depth analysis of a car’s functionality and characteristics rather than the usual “Yoof” Tube gimmicky banter. Not everyone has been able to make that transition so adroitly; well done. 👍
Yes agree whole heartily. I also grew up with Mel Nichols wrighting here in Oz. Sports car World and Wheels magazine. So sad for me at the time to loose him but very happy for the huge success that he had. I remember the Ford GTHO trip he took down the Hume Hwy magic photo of the speed showing 140mph for the time simply amazing, great to see him there.
Great as always - but worth pointing out it’s wrong to say ‘e fuels have no emissions’. The tailpipe emissions are typically only 5-10% lower than when burning petrol
I think something like a lightened E46 M3 with a stroked engine would be a great ‘affordable’ restomod. Timeless design, great balance, semi practical, relatively affordable. .
This is going ro be good , right packet of biscuits and a cuppa. Let's do this Thanks for taking the time to give this tonight on you tube.. Ledgends all.. 😎
I’ve recently bought a mint 2007 911S manual. It’s wonderful in every way, and if at some point in needs an engine rebuild, so be it. It is perfectly practical and has so much more character than the now iPad strewn new generation vehicles.
Really enjoyed the pod cast in particular the points that were raised about the future of our beloved cars, more of this please, possibly involving government ministers and people from highways England.
Great discussion 👍 The pedant in me wants to point out that the Toyota Sera was not a Kei car but it was Gordon Murray's inspiration for the F1's door design. The Kei car you're thinking of was the Mazda/Autozam AZ1
So, Mr Frankel....was that Falles Hire cars by any chance? We could hear your cars racing around the fields when the winds were south....across the valley. A St Michael's old boy made good! Great channel.
Have been following Ti on Ig for a bit now and just recently became subscriber on the platform itself. Got to say: absolutely brilliant stuff top to bottom, or more aptly, left to right. Keep at it.
I enjoyed listening to this, of course I know the panel. Regarding a shift in paradigma when it comes to the production of "performance or sports car" is hindered by the need of recognition and ego of so many buyers of these cars - that for many are most of all, status symbols.... However, with the right marketing strategy, I think that every one of the big names could produce a sort of a antithesis of their halo cars... build with the newest technology but basic, lightweight, analog, reasonably, affordable ..and be able to sell them very well
If anyone can manage this 1st group test its you guys DB4 GT Zagato vs E Type Lightweight vs 250 GTO - toolroom copies (like the one Karun Chandhok drove at Revival) are acceptable as long as to original specs Daytona vs Miura SV vs Bora
Would that be the same Singer which was driving around Edinburgh a few weeks ago? I couldn’t believe my eyes seeing it being driven in the pouring rain.
The fun is over for more than just cars. Vote labour/conservative and everything is over. Communism is coming with both of them. Vote reclaim or reformUk to save us.
Lovely intro from Andrew. What an eloquent speaker on top of his extraordinary writing ability

As someone brought up on Car Magazine of the Mel Nichols era TI is a bit of a comforting refuge. Thank you ❤

what watch is Henry wearing? Always a joy to watch.
Bit late in relying, sorry. It’s a Bremont U-2/51-Jet (on a NATO strap).

I loved this.
I think the moral of Henry's annecdotes would be go fast, take chances. Okay-dokey.
