- DO NOT use this method on watches that are NOT WATER RESISTANT or on VINTAGE WATCHES even if they are water resistant, as aging might have caused them to lose their water resistance.
Using this method once a month or even once every couple of months will result in your watches being clean and gunk free - Навчання та стиль
I have used this method when selling my watches, but you wouldn’t believe the dirty condition of some of the “used” watches I have bought in the past. Thanks for spreading the word.
.
This is nice and simple. I appreciate your video, which answered my question perfectly (I have a pair of old watches that I never cleaned, so they're next-level gunky).
Thanks for the handy tip, I just tried it out and the result is awesome!
Thanks for the video ..just enjoyed washing a couple of my watches and they came out great 😎
Thanks for sharing your precious tip. What about non water resistant watches like dress watches? Can you safely do that?
Which watch was that
When replacing batteries on my watches, I use Vaseline on the seal, and threads. Goes on nice, smooth, and does a good seal.
Hi. I have a casio pag240t that a gasket under the turntable bezel snapped. How can I get a new gasket? This was a very informative video
Ask at your local Casio dealer
What if the watch only has 30m of water resistance?
Thank You Sir!
Thank you for watching 😁
How can I remove dirt from the edges of my g-shock, does this method give scratches on the glass, and my GBA-800 got prints on the strap. Would they fade away?
Rubbing using toothbrush and soap won't scratch your crystal so you can use it freely
@@WatchGeek Thanks 😁
hay good morning thank you for the input on cleaning your watches, but can you do this with all watches??how about the G shocks??
+weedXD38 good morning to you too :)
You can use this method on G shocks, I have been doing it for years, just DON'T use it on vintage watches, and watches that are not water resistant
At 5:52 you mentioned something about "fogging". What did you mean by that and what does it indicate?
It usually means your gaskets have dried out and need relubing
@@WatchGeek how do you relub it?
Thank you ! Now I can finally clean all of my watches that are dirty with grunge & grime ! 🖖
Whats a sink? Wish u put a sink next to the soap
*_Nice music 🎶 man!!_*
Might want to be careful with the soap even on water resist or diver watches. Repeated exposure will accelerate degradation to the seals.
+AkuNoHana I have some watches over 13 years old and still show no sign of degradation of seals or should I say they are not worse then other watches not washed this way, so although I know that is not advised, in my opinion doing it once a month will not harm the watch
Dont waste water during brushing! ;)
+Tomi Krznar thanks for the warning 😊
I put mine in the dishwasher. It gets all the gunk out of the bracelet as well as the watch. No effort, never had a problem.
+gar374 that's brave 👍😊
I use an electric toothbrush
I always use stainless steel sponges to clean my watches
Ha ha, is your watch a sun diel?
I would use a couple drops of dish soap mixed in a half cup of water instead of a "bar" of soap... that stuff isn't pure soap... it's got all kinds of other stuff added like hand lotion.
Just my 2 cents, but I highly suggest anyone watching this video take it. 🤷♂
Nice! I once Washed my Watch and it turned into a Cheap Swatch😭
WARNING -
THIS ONLY WORKS IF THE WATCH IS UP TO 100M OR MORE.
