Today, I got a bug where units can be invisible only to you (prob on mobile only). Playing on Luigi in Africa, recon car become invisible (not cloaked, got into grunt melee range and still can't reveal), proceed to kill some grunts and bombed by m.hot spam
I've been wanting to try Sapper myself. I've yet to use it at all, honestly, just because it works so differently to any other unit in the game and I used to like playing more aggressive. But I could see it an HMT loadout. I already use one that plays more passively/defensively. Rushing outpost to make HMT then shifting to more passive/defensive (depending on the matchup) with HMT, towed Howi, and LG. I could probably fit Sapper somewhere in a similar loadout for defense and repairing HMT. I've never played it before though, and it could be a bit less flexible. Think it'd be any good? Also really want to see you play HMT at some point, because I never see anyone else using it despite how good it is when played well. Everyone tells me it's a bad unit, yet I'm currently on 5 wins in a row with my own loadout for it.
@@foxxowoxxowillow7855 I am going to assume hmt is heavy multi tank?. If so multi H tank is generally quite under used due to recon tanks and rpg and BT absolutely destroying it. On defense and on a map with lots of choke points I could see multi h being good. I have used it a few times. Just haven't found the star loadout for it. I'll see what I can come up with maybe 1 day
@@Foolish-Playz Yeah. Heavy Multi. A lot of people say it's pretty bad, so I just had to see if it was really true. And in my experience, it's actually one of, if not my best loadout so far. I'd say it can really be more defensive or passive. Sometimes offensive, but only if your opponent doesn't have a good counter to it, at least in early-game. Despite the extra weapons, it is sometimes better to only keep it held back to use its Heavy Cannon. It's hard to explain, but it's honestly more comparable to Heavy Tank CW than BT in that way. So far, it's actually done well even in its "bad" matchups in my experience. IFV, BT, RPG, no problem. But you often have to change your strategy a lot. I'd say it works on any map that's small enough, ideally with a center Outpost to rush. But choke points do help.
@@foxxowoxxowillow7855 Exactly. Multi H isn't bad. It's just very defensive and need a lot of cover. Also the reason why it's considered bad is that defensive loadouts in pvp sucks. They can't push well. They don't win the game. they stall till the opponent leaves. Multi H is still decent on attack. I like using it. Just most maps don't favor it and also it has to be spwned in from a post and not in deployment phase
@@Foolish-Playz I get a lot of success in my experience, especially on Italian Town 2v2, but yeah, it takes a lot more effort for sure. There're some maps that don't work well for it, either. I'll be honest, you could argue just as well it's an LG loadout. It often relies a lot on just spamming them to insta-kill any infantry push. At least when it's forced more defensive. HMT really needs it. But it's mostly just about avoiding trades and ideally trying to keep the middle Outpost once you have it. It can do that well, because it's hard to really kill anything in this loadout. But it's definitely slow, for sure. It can push, but only very, very slowly. Two steps forward, one step back kind of play.
Yo i have an idea (not good one but still an idea) you should make a infantry spam with following loadout: Grunts RPG LMG Flamethrower Bikers Transport truck Halftrack supply Howitzers (And bc i forgor how much max unit you can put im also gonna give you 2 more units Snipers and/or Sapper(as final defence))

Heya, that loadout got me slowed down enough that I can't reach there on time (because my ally defense crumbled on the first game), this loadout was good if you want to buy time, but not good to actually win games. @@Lucaj1007 I wouldn't say so. My opponent made a mistake, but that doesn't mean he could avoid it. At least not with what he knew. You can argue for some logic or another, but I flanked for his Outpost when he didn't know where my new units were for about 6 turns, so he couldn't've known whether or not I was really trying to take his Outpost with more units than he could see, or if it was just bait for his BT like it was. It wasn't the "wrong" choice. He'd taken a lot of losses, too, being at eco disadvantage, but was still holding me in the center with his BT and LGs. But he also couldn't've known I spammed a bunch of Scout Tanks just behind my SMG Squads that were waiting to push his wall of LGs. It's called a feint, and not a bluff, because even a feint still swings a killing blow. It's a mind game, but not a hollow threat.
Honestly, I thought it was pretty questionable at first, too. But it makes sense on the map. It's basically the Maginot Line strategy (except working as intended). Build a big fortified area on the flank you know you can't push, and dedicate the rest of your effort to the other. but yeah, I doubt it'd be any good if this were Italian Town, Pinewoods, etc. Sapper doesn't mesh well with an otherwise offensive loadout if it can't get a choke point on a flank of its own to hold. Good example of that on the second match honestly.
@@Boolard-ln2pu IFV isn't bad in my opinion. Just an out-of-meta strategy. It has advantages in just doing a lot in one unit, even if it's rarely necessary and somewhat risky.
