I always loved the F-106 basically the last specialised fighter and I remember the double stick of which the left one was to control the radar system. A very cool aircraft 😜
Was stationed at K.I. Sawyer AFB , MI., 1983-88, 91-94. K.I. was home to the 87th Fighter Interceptor Squadron, Red Bulls. Never will forget their pure after burning engines; full rev, brief pause with no sound, the. BANG when they lit’m up! So cool!
Can i get in it if i come? Do yall offer that all the time? My granpa flew these and i think it would be awesome to see him climb in one with my own two eyes
Is that by any chance the f-106 that the guy bailed out of and it landed itself in a field? I know that particular plane became a museum ship and there aren't many of them around.
Very nice, visited two days ago, best museum experience ever
That is AWESOME - did you sit in the F-106 cockpit?
Yes i did! It was very interesting the double stick and now I know what it’s for, thanks!

Cool piece as usual, didn't know about the separate stick. Would have liked to see some shots of the aircraft too.....Thanks
I was genuinely expecting him to say Convair 880! Nice museum!
Why would he say Convair 880?
Im on my way I almost forgot about this location .......and you have Harvest Host 👍👍 Hope your there I will be looking forward to it ....
Have not seen a 106 in a very long time. New Jersey Air Guard used to fly them before they got f-16s.
106’s straight to the Viper?
That’s honestly a big leap.
Hey that’s me!
Reminds me of the Junkers Ju-88 stick.
Cool air plane. They used to have em in Montana for the Air Gaurd!
Awesome fighter jet a beautiful piece of american history
We need that in War thunder.
I'll be going back home next year for Xmas, going to bring my son to see you guys
"Luke! You turned off your targeting computer! Are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm carrying nuke A2A missiles...."
You guys let people in the cockpits?! That's awesome! Too bad I live in a different country!
It’s not the actual plane,it’s a portion of the cockpit used for training.
They don’t even have a full 106,and all the other cockpits are restricted.
Yes I did
Want to visit 😀
NEXT DO THE 102!!!!
😁👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻
my dad worked for Convair in the late 50's &early60's!! and he Worked on both!!
Hey the air zoo has a a37b "dragonfly" ?
Can i get in it if i come? Do yall offer that all the time? My granpa flew these and i think it would be awesome to see him climb in one with my own two eyes
Hi, I'm always wondering how's the visibility of the pilot like since there is a horizontal bar right in the middle of the front canopy. Thanks
Does the air zoo have big planes (bombers, cargo planes)?
Hey Air Zoo, what are your full motion flight simulators like?
Why does that control stick look familiar? X-Wing?
The F-102 and F-8 also had bifurcated stick grips.
So that’s what they’re called.
Cool!
This is pretty cool, normaly the RIO does that right?
That variant of the 106 doesn’t have a backseat.
Where is the air zoo located? I want to go.
Kalamazoo, Michigan
I would love to Euan, but unfortunately I live in Florida 😢

No, that one is at the USAF museum at Wright-Patterson AFB.
Also,it is not even a full F-106,it is a familiarization cockpit portion for training.
Where in Scotland you from?
I live by your place
I really hope you guys get an f14 somehow
We have one!
Where is this air zoo located?

Oh my good God. Please pick me.. I never was allowed to be a pilot since I'm a diabetic since birth. I'm 63 so I don't have much time left.
