- The Darkness was recently our guests on 'Records In My Life'. They spoke with us about some of their favourite albums by Queen, Marvin Gaye, Europe, Led Zeppelin, and Steven Tyler's pants.

Justin's always funny, but particularly here, for some reason. What a cutie...🥰
Such wide age difference in this band. When Justin was 14 and listening to Aerosmith's Pump, Frankie was 22 and Rufus wasn't born yet. And yet it's perfect. Old souls, doesn't matter.
What's with Justin's glasses? Is that the new style? One of the guys in Chvrches had the same pair.
Maybe we could start a new rumour and say he stole them?

He knows his own band is heavily influenced by his dad's band. They mention Queen all the time, really, even now. I think he seems to accept it very casually.
Rufus is an amazing drummer in his own right

Get Your Wings is the best Aerosmith album.
I'm so very glad they got back together after that long and tragic break. I remember checking on them every now and then back in the day, really hoping they would.
I missed them when they toured Permission to Land so this was a real treat to meet them now with almost the full original lineup. Rufus may well be the better drummer too.

I saw them on this tour for the first time. My face hurt from grinning and smiling so much. What a fantastic show, killer band, and Justin is a consummate showman.
They always surprise me with their influences/likes. Heaven or Las Vegas by the Cocteau Twins FFS! Superb record.
