“Made in Cambodia” product quality is not the issue. Transportation costs and wholesale prices (lack of warehouses and lack of distribution centers) is the big problem in the country. For example, how come in Battambang 1 can of Coca Cola normally costs ៛1500, but in other provinces including Phnom Penh, it’s generally ៛2000 per can of any soda.
A boutique shop such as this selling 100% Cambodia made products is a good example to market products selling mainly to foreign tourists.
I think if she includes décor such as pottery, vases, stone carvings, wood carvings from Kampong Chhnang province alone, she would need extra shelf space. Food retail such as these products have short shelf life.

Cambodian truly made higher quality products (Organic). I visited Cambodia years ago and bought Confirel “ Java Palm spirit” for my European friend and he told me that his family and fiends love it. Last year he asked me when will I go visit Cambodia again. If I visit again, don’t forget to buy more for him because he love it so much.
